I’ll turn out to be right this year as I (and probably 70% of the board) have consistently been on coaches and QB’s, not that I of we have ever wanted to be. It’s easy to see the pattern forming while it’s happening. It’s just easier to deny it as fans and take it out on people who are pointing it out early.

For the record, I wasn’t expecting it this year and actually went in with high expectations. My impressions have nothing to do with those but rather the playcalling and Baker’s own performance. Too much wrong.

People keep saying the "system" is different.

The plays and schematics have largely been the same. Lots of RPO action, as per usual.

Not connecting or attempting as much deep. Less misdirection run-action, but largely the same.

Just inefficient.

I assume our o-line getting ran threw most plays isn't helping. Baker looks like he has zero confidence to stand in the pocket- which I can't blame him for. I'm hoping more RPO's and misdirection can help mask some of that, because it doesn't look like the problem is going to fix itself anytime soon. Oh and our schedule is hell for the next 5-6 weeks as well.
