Absolutely. Yeah, I just thought Withers did a bad job there with reporting. Not your fault.
Any sprain means some tearing, so his knee is pretty loose right now. How much? How long? I was hopeful last night because they said he had no stabilization when he left the arena.
It was a fluke, but it does make me worry about Porter because he is so side to side spidery. With the way he moves, this may be an issue going forward.
Yes a sprain by definition is a partial tear or over stretching in the ligaments. I don't think his knee would be loose right now though. It's probably extremely swollen. He probably doesn't have anywhere close to full range of motion in his knee.
I don't think there is should be any worry about long term effects of it. It's not like it was a dislocation or hyperextension. I've had a badly sprained ankle and a hyperextended elbow. I can't even remember which ankle it was for sure that how little effected it had long term, while my left elbow has felt different from my right elbow ever since. Maybe someone with experience with sprain knees can chime in.
