2019 Rotation Thread

So you think we'll keep letting Clarkson run the 2nd unit then?

“Run” the second unit? You mean, play one-on-five while the other guys stand in the four corners?

“Running” implies the involvement of teammates and the intention to pass.

Now that our team seems relatively set for the start of the season, what do you think the roations/minutes will be?

My guess:

Starters
Sexton
Hood/Korver
Cedi
Love
Zizic

Bench
Hill
Clarkson/JR
SF???
Nance
Frye/TT

Lue will not start Zizic. He probably won’t start Cedi, either.

Lue will try to win with Hill, JR, and TT.

I think Cedi will start. He's our only true small forward at the moment. As for the others, I don't know what Lue will do.

Unfortunately I would put huge money on TT starting. If he starts both JR and TT ill have to shut the cable off til I hear something changes.

Agreed.
TT will start. Love obviously has more experience with TT than Nance/Zizic. I also predict George Hill will start at the 2 and either Cedi or Hood at the 3. I think Cedi would be a better fit starting and Hood a better fit off the bench.

Too early to predict. Think Hill, Korver and maybe JR will be gone before the start of the season.

Crowder was a rotten power forward, and Love is a rotten center, but that stopped NOTHING.

Love was a good center for an LBJ offense, and it would have worked had our defense been more suitable for the players we had on the team. Crowder at the 4 didn't work out, but it seemed like a good idea at first as well.

Love said the front office talked a lot to him about Zizic and Cedi. I have a feeling they'll both be starting.
