Plesac needs to learn to keep his walks down. Looks like we could have an offensive shootout tonight between two rookie pitchers.
 
Plesac is afraid to throw strikes against this team.

Young guy. He'll learn to trust his stuff.
 
Location isnt there but in his defense, this strike zone is skewed.
 
Bauers just simply cannot continue missing hittable pitches this badly.

A month in AAA is a prime chance to improve on his approach and pitch selection.
 
Down 1 run, 5th inning, Frankie leads off with a double. I absolutely hate the call for Mercado to bunt.

Don't give their rookie pitcher who's struggling a free out.

Don't take the bat out of Mercado's hands.

Frankie scoring doesn't put you in the lead.

I'm not adjusting this take because the Astros just fucked up and threw to third, not even getting the lead runner.

Still hate the call to sac bunt in that situation. Ends don't justify the means.

That being said.... fuck yeah. Big inning.
 
Hope we trade Bauers to Columbus.
