Still massively disappointed that the Astros aren’t facing live opposing fans every road game. Hopefully, all of baseball establishment and fanbase has a long memory and gives those cheaters loud racous boos and jeers in 2021

BTW - The ChiSox rotation & bullpen was absolutely smashed to bits by the Twins this weekend..

Not really sure who/ what the ChiSox have left for visiting Cleveland staring on Monday...

It'll happen. At the least, any fanbase of a team in their division or team that has faced them in the playoffs the last few years will boo the shit out of them, Cleveland included. Can't wait, I was planning on going to at least one Astros game this year just to do that.

Damn...

I don't understand the local blackout rules at all. Just hurts the growth of the game and the fans that love it.
Local blackouts make zero sense when fans cannot attend games.

The Dolans bought the Indians in 2000 for $323 million. Forbes puts the current value of the franchise at $1.15 billion, an increase of $827 million in 20 years. That doesn't even count whatever profits they made over 20 seasons, and you know they don't operate at a loss, otherwise we'd still have Bauer, Kluber, etc.

I wish I could be that stupid.

Unless I'm mistaken, if he had just dumped 323 million into an S&P index fund and left there since 2000 it would be worth 1 billion now. So the gain isn't quite that impressive IMO.

So, Orioles, Marlins, and Tigers each take a series...everybody has at least one win except D- Backs, who have yet to play a third game. Foreshadowing a quirky season-ette.

For all those that migrated from IBI - what's up with this ????

Bad mouthed anyone that put up anything negative (or could we say factual) about Kluber. So are we going to hear from you now ????

Loved Bauer's little crow hop towards the centerfield wall when Bell came to take him out.

Great sense of humor in that guy
Did not see it, but like it in concept.

I posted an injury update...it’s news. I’m not bad mouthing Kluber at all, I wouldn’t do that. He’s going to the Hall of Fame as an Indian, he’s a Tribe legend. Would never wish a bad thing to Kluber.

I loved Kluber and what he did for the Tribe, but if we can rewind the IBI “tapes”, I thought he was probably done. That said, I hope nobody relishes his regression and possible demise. I do not, even if it makes me somewhat “correct”.
