I like the letter because it speaks to the level of interest in these kids have in leading conversations, not just being a part of them.
Also speaks to their coaching staff for helping them realize that freedom.
Most importantly, if the kids ever feel differently about the protocols down the road, they’ve earned themselves credibility up front by discussing it now as a group.
Just a well executed move.
Side note: the tweet I linked yesterday was Ryan Donnelly’s reporting that highlighted the politization of this letter by certain groups of people. Most (all) of whom are using it to make this out to be a political statement that it isn’t.
