2020 College Football Season/Playoff Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yea I'm very, very over thecollege replay system.

The idea that "every play is reviewed" is an obvious lie that gets told every single game by the announce booth.

Go to the NFL system. Otherwise, just stop it altogether. It's pointless.
I will concede that the replay system is flawed. But, I am old enough to remember the days before replay. I don’t want to go there.

Games of Great Import

BYU @ Boise (Friday) - Might be the last chance for BYU to lose. I don't think BYU has a shot at the CFP, but that opinion is split. Certainly, they have no shot if they lose on the smurf turf.

Arizona @ USC - PACtion is back! And they start with a 9am local game. Clay Helton on the hot seat this year.

Michigan @ Indiana - MORE LIKE WINDIANA! Indiana comes in ranked, but is a 3 point dog. Michigan destroyed Minnesota (who also lost to Maryland) and then lost a squeaker to MSU (who also lost to Rutgers). If Michigan loses, they might be looking at not being bowl eligible. If they win, they might still be the 2nd best team in the B1G Ten East. Indiana has some nice skill players, and after seeing what Ricky White did, Whop Philyor could have a big game.

Florida @ Georgia - Loser is way out of the CFP. Winner gets to pretend they are a CFP candidate until Bama beats them by 30 in December.

Okie St @ Kansas St - Just to make sure the B12 has no 1 loss teams.

Clemson @ ND - The big one. Obviously no Trevor Lawrence. Clemson is down a few others. A ND win might open a scenario for 2 ACC CFP teams. How many losses can Clemson survive if Lawrence is out? I think Clemson still wins, but it'll be itneresting.

Stanford @ Oregon - Pac12's most likely CFP shot is Oregon running the table. They start with a rival.

Don Brown is gonna get fired after the season.

Josh Gattis should too.

Team has absolutely no identity on either side of the ball. They look totally lost.
He has the excuse of young players. He’ll get another year

"I'm terribly disappointed in the officiating today. Their claim that that the ball was beyond the receiver when the interference happened is patently false. The receiver was getting tackled around the head. He never got a chance to make the catch."

Everyone talks about Michigan being so disappointing for having such a huge brand but somehow its like Nebraska just flies under the radar now.

up until last year they were top 5 in wins all time. Something like 5 national titles.

I dunno why they don't get the same continued heat for not turning it around.

I know they are young but I’m not sure Don Brown has ever had a defense that is this bad.

To me, Milton has been as good as you can expect a new QB to be. Has he missed throws? I mean sure and I haven’t cared for the OC but Michigan would be 3-0 if their defense was not a total dumpster fire.

I’m not saying they’re good but I really can’t wrap my head around the defense being this helpless to start the year.
