Steve Cohen claims to have made a great offer.. Francisco Lindor's representation seems to think it's about $ 60 MM less than a great offer.. that defines an "impasse".. Lindor's cut off date for negotiating a contract extension is now less than 24 hours away..

Me thinks the NY media is gonna have themselves a new whipping boy.. Greedy Lindor.. so sad..

Once upon a time I was kind of a big deal in Rotisserie. Knew all of the major players.

It's a daily game now, really just bookmaking. All of the fun and ingenuity are gone now, crushed beneath the weight of endless, endless, endless information and analysis.

Baseball has really changed in my lifetime.

As an aside:

I have struggled to quantify my thoughts on baseball over my 43 years of following it, and this says it about as well as anything I've come up with.

Yeah, I'm in. I have a Fantasy Team right now (Chisenhall of Fame) but I'd be glad to join an RCF league. Would it be free?

I wonder if they are going to play tomorrow or delay the game until Friday. The high tomorrow is 33 degrees, while Friday is supposed to be 47. Also a chance of snow tonight!

In a normal year, I would be at the Tigers home opener for a work function. Hopefully next year the Tribe will be the Tigers home opener too.
