2021 NBA Draft Safari

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I am thinking Gobert's performance re-enforces the view that big centers are less valuable in the draft. We were able to acquire four big men with second round picks, Drummond, McGee, Allen and Hartenstein. It has become rare that a center can influence the game that much.. Having a 7 footer, that can play wing, that's a different story. But that's not what I am reading about mobley..

I don't see a Durant, or a Giannis in this draft..if anything, I am seeing a possible Paul.George or two..

I'm stressed about Tuesday. I have a bad feeling...

Thanks to Altman now we are stuck with SG,PG and SF of PG size.Sexton is not PG and too small for SG,Garland is too small for PG,Okoro is playing SF which he has no body size and physicality to play at.Now we have to move either Sexton or Garland and draft SG again to fill up a void of a traded player. Its like you have 0 clue of how to build a team.Needless to say we have big problems at C and PF as well.So tell me why is Altman stil our GM.I dont get it!Is he Gilberts relative? No.Is Gilbert lost his sense? No.Why would you give another shot for a guys who messed up the whole roster so bad,so there is 0 improvement on the team becoming at least a play off contender.Four years(Four,Karl) and we are still 5th team on a bottom of NBA.

Rumor was two mid firsts at the deadline (boston?)
You have to think Atlanta will be looking to go all in now

This is from March

According to Cleveland.com's Chris Fedor on Saturday, the Minnesota Timberwolves have "aggressively" pursued Nance since the offseason. The Philadelphia 76ers, Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, Dallas Mavericks and New Orleans Pelicans are also reportedly interested.

Of those teams I'm not sure who we could get a draft pick out that would be worth giving up Nance for. I don't think any of them have two in this year's draft. Boston when they had #16 made sense especially if we took TT back.

#10 from New Orleans would seem to be out of range but who know since Griff makes weird moves with players that make no sense to build around Zion with. Nance would definitely fall into that category.

Maybe if Minnesota keeps their pick and we want to move up 1 or two spots, Nance can be the asset to do so, but I think that's a stretch.

Mavs and Heat don't have 1st round picks. 76ers do but it's #28. Maybe Nance could be part of a larger trade if 76ers want to move Simmons.

Just assume we're picking 7th and your stress level will go down.
Until you start looking at the players available at 7, assuming the top 6 goes Cade/Mobley/Green/Suggs/Kuminga/Barnes which it should..
who the hell do you take at 7? Sengun might be the next best player but the cavs can't take him with Allen, Love, Nance and hopefully Hartenstein.
I just don't see the cavs taking Sengun. Wouldn't have any wings, all big guys and small guys lol.
Who would the cavs take if they come up 7? I'd probably take Moody...maybe Keon Johnson?

God I wish he could shoot. I'd pay good money to watch him and Okoro as the two guys guarding the perimeter. Or the intensity cocktail with those two and Sexton.

But I'm scared to draft him.

He reminds of Giannis

The way he moves and dribbles. He has tighter handles, but has those high hips and long strides.

I think Jalen Johnson could be a good fit for us. He has alot of potential. He is projected to be a point forward. His 3pt percentage is good but it's with low volume. His scoring numbers and minutes weren't that high before he left Duke.

I think how he gives his reasoning for leaving Duke would be make or break for the Cavs.

Johnson has some major character red flags right? Dunno if i wanna risk kpj 2.0

I'm assuming Wagner or Moody but Garuba and Sengun are interesting.

did you have a good feeling the last two drafts? If so, I think that bad feeling is a good one to have lol
Every time I have no control over the outcome of something, best I just be positive, no point in preparing myself for disappointment, by being disappointed, before I actually have a reason to be lol
But yeah they are picking 7th if they don't get in the top 4 it is inevitable and they will draft somebody half this board hates and half the board loves.;) Don't really matter
