I wonder if Michael Porter Jr is obtainable. Definitely a risk, but he would fit like a glove. He wasn't given an extension this week (I think the deadline was the 3rd). While obviously a key cog for the Nuggets, they're at $108M with only 8 bodies on the roster. He alone will add $25M to their books.

If they entertained trading him, I'd be pretty worried they know something we don't about his long term health.

Agreed, and agreed. lol

Okoro will continue to play and most likely start at SF, while i agree with allot that his best position is SG, we dont have the minutes there and Okoro's game offensively is more SF minus 2 inches. Hopefully Okoro takes a Garland and Sexton level leap in year 2 that our gym rate players seem to take and he fits much better.

Doesnt hurt we just added a 7'1 guy with rim protection at PF either.
Right, whatever Okoro lacks in head height or wingspan defensively at the 3 which are both avg for SF not below avg. if you look close at actual players at the position,at least that are anything besides defensive plug ins like Thybulle, the list is short. He makes up for it with his athleticism which will be even more evident imo, with a better feel for the guy he is defending after a rookie season grinding it out against everyone at least once already.

The reason they would be trading him imo aside from the obvious back reinjury potential issue that is not hidden at this point, is he demands usage and is extremely selfish and arrogant maybe Houston will take him.

Okoro is young and built like a tank already. Length is important in defense, but so is strength, especially at forward. Okoro is built very much like Andre Iguodala who is an excellent defender. Not saying he is Iggy level defender now, but he can be, all the tools and mentality are there.

Iggy is Okoro's extreme ceiling, but man would it be fun if he reached it.

probably a decent comp, I bet he is a better shooter over time though.

As a defender, it would be great to accomplish that. I think offensively he has his potential as being able to create for 2 man game with Mobley on PnRs ( they got really big potential together). Looking forward to the summer league and how they adapt as the season goes on.

We will see, doubtful he is as good of a passer or court vision, and doubtful he is as good of a defender, but Iggy was amazing, so no shame not being quite as good.

I mean it is a nice goal for him if nothing else. I do think he will be a better shooter and his on ball playmaking is underrated

I'm not exactly holding my breath, but it'll be interesting to see how the league handles this.

If found guilty if these teams don’t lose multiple first round picks then that will prove the league is weak and corrupt as hell

I'll laugh pretty hard if Griff chokes on that Ball trade and has to come back to the Pels on a rental
