I'm guessing they are soft punting this year and gearing up for 23. They have pg and kawhi under contract for a few more years so why kill yourselves when kawhi is out for most of the year. Just chill, get a 6 seed and maybe make a run. Go for the 1 seed next season

Good trade for both teams. I would have loved to try and pry Culver from the Twolves. Wolves get tougher & Grizz get more length.

More Patrick Beverly trades! I need him traded at least 4 more times before the season starts. He needs to do a Luke Ridnour tour.

Deion Sanders got drafted 13 years before Jalen Green was born LMAO. To his credit Deion had issues with the Lions organization and had some good things to say about the city of Detroit (although he mentioned it being too cold up there for a Florida boy).

Either way, Jalen Green has somehow manufactured a rift so it should be fun away games in Detroit which isn't a bad outcome for the general NBA audience. A funny observation is that Houston wanted Cade first overall as well (according to reports) so his focus should be on proving both franchises wrong instead of letting the city of Detroit live rent free in his head.

Another reason I’m #Done with the NBA and it’s BLATANT BULLSHIT favoritism.
The Christmas Day schedule was just announced and neither the Bucks OR the Suns are playing on Christmas Day. Every year the defending Champs have always played on Christmas Day (or a rematch of the Finals). But Silver and his stoolies are going to force feed us LBJ vs Kyrie/Durant,
Trey Young vs the Knicks and Luka vs the Jazz. Not one of the NBA Finalists on Christmas Day…..complete bullshit! Just like last year having the “lottery entry” Warriors on Christmas Day (lost by 35).
I hope every single game is a 30+ Point blow out…..to kill their ratings!

Where did you see that the Bucks and Suns wouldn't play on Christmas?

I've seen 3 out of the 5 game leaked:

Lakers vs Nets
Knicks vs Hawks
Mavs vs Jazz

The rest of the games will be revealed on the Jump at 3 but will probably be sooner.

Read the article on ESPN.com and they said the “night cap” game will be Luka vs The Jazz. No mention of any other games in the article.
Seems strange to me that they (NBA/ESPN) wouldn’t leak a Christmas Day appearance of the World Champs on TV.

Whens the last time the champs didn't play on christmas?

Still lame that it's not Bucks vs Suns

I also would've preferred Bulls over Celtics.

T-Wolves low key have one of the most laughably horrendous uses of trade and draft capital in recent memory.

They have traded a #1 overall pick, a #6 overall pick and a #7 overall pick for D'Angelo Russell and Pat Beverly.

And there have been stories they already want to trade Russell. What a dumpster fire.

So Embiid represented himself on the "negotiations"; does this mean that no agent is taking 10% cut of that 196 cake?
