Is it just me or are the newer generation of players starting to sound more and more like they were in the special needs class. Hearing guys like Trae Young, Jalen Green in an interview yesterday, Dion with us and many others who’s names I don’t remember. Some of them legit sound like they can’t even string together a sentence or mumble and slur their words like they chugged a liter of vodka before interviews. They cant ALL have speech impediments? Havnt lived in the US for years is this the new norm among teens? Is this a failure of education? The influence of garbage mumble rap? I find it so hard to listen to these guys in post game interviews sometimes

This isn’t exactly a new idea but I do believe these kids are spending so much time playing sports growing up and specializing in things that they’re not well-rounded people and lacking in some regards. Pro baseball players, God love them, are some of the stupidest people I’ve ever met. Standing around throwing and hitting balls back-and-forth doesn’t encourage much intellectual development.
