2021 NBA PLAYOFFS MEGA THREAD

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Warriors somehow have a tough interior defense even with no rim protection.
Really stupid of them not to trade the Wiseman pick and the other Minnesota pick for someone like Harden. Houston got less for Harden then that for sure

The writhing around on the ground was definitely a bit much, but LeBron definitely did get jabbed in the eye and it certainly affected his vision. It looked red afterwards.

Funny how Draymond Green is always at the center of these things...
Part of it is him being undersized for his position, the other part is just obnoxious.

Pitiful acting job from LeBron after the Draymond foul, rolling around on the ground like his career was over... Tried his best to sell the flagrant but I’m glad it stayed as a common foul. At some point the league has to stop rewarding flopping/acting.

That was absolutely a flagrant foul though, made no play for the ball and whacked him in the face midair. And Draymond had probably a worse flop earlier in the game when Davis got Td up. Not the biggest Lebron fan but fuck Draymond lmfao

LeBron hitting clutch shots against GS has me feeling like its 2016.

People freaking about about Skip Bayless being an obvious LeBron troll has me feeling like 2006.

Really no idea how it wasn’t called a flagrant foul. It was as textbook as it gets. Two hands to LeBron’s face with no attempt on the ball. Do that to golden boy Curry and you’re gonna get ejected. But you need to hit LeBron over the head with a baseball bat before the refs consider giving you a flagrant foul.

I know many hate him, but I will always root for Lebron. He made one huge mistake in my eyes,....the decision, but going to LA was not one of the mistakes. He did it for business some and mostly his family including wife and kids wanted to be there.

He came back and fulfilled his promise to get us a ring, he tried hard all 4 years on the return.

And what he does for Akron with the schools and social justice with his voice then being from my neighborhood? @RchfldCavRaised ... Yeah I will always root for Lebron.

I know not everyone on here comes close to agreeing, but that said we are all allowed to root for who we want, lol.
I have nothing against LeBron, but think super teams kill the league. I would rather anyone win than the Lakers and Nets, in particular.

Go Grizzlies!

I can't believe Jonas Valanciunas is currently the best player on a team that actually pretty damn good.

Ja has to figure some things out and JJJ needs to get (and stay) healthy, but they should be a really fun team to watch for the foreseeable future.

One more point about Memphis...

I would kill to steal Brandon Clarke from them. Somehow he's fallen out of favor with Taylor Jenkins (probably just a numbers thing while integrating JJJ back). He was their best reserve last year and I cant believe they have DNPCD'd him alot recently.

You could play him at either 3 or 4, he's going to turn 24 during next season. He's got 2 years left on his rookie deal and I believe he'll be a RFA next summer so they may look to move him before then. JJJ's best friend Tillman is playing and being prioritized over Clarke.

I would register my interest with Memphis as soon as their season is over and keep checking in with them leading into the draft.

I've got a list of current young players who I'd like to target once we know who we're drafting and he's up there for me

I mentioned them before as being really similar to the Nuggets in the sense that they've done just a phenomenal job of acquiring and drafting young guys who are legitimate NBA rotation players.

They're reaching the point now where they simply don't have enough minutes for all of them, especially in a playoff-type game.

I like Brandon Clarke a lot, but I'm actually pretty sure Jenkins was actually playing the right guys yesterday. Just crazy the depth they have.

Watching Golden State fans complain about the game being rigged/officiating being lopsided is comedy gold.

Someone else said it, but last night reminded me how much I hate Draymond Green.

They really are. That Bane kid should be playing tight end in the NFL and he's out there fighting Melton and Allen for best guard off the bench and all 3 are capable. Scoonie Penn is doing an excellent job developing their young guards.

Potapenko over there on the bench turning JV into Jamaal Magloire and shit.

Really stable and well run organization down there after firing Wallace, Hollinger and JBB :chuckle: .

Their top 3 basketball guys are on their 3rd year on the job: Zach Kleiman (POBO), Rich Cho (VPOBO) and Tayshaun Prince (VPOB Affairs)
