His wife tweeted out that their family are getting death threats. Internet trolls just say stupid shit, reminds me of out of towners driving in to protest and loot.
Death threats? Must have been an overextended gambler on a meaningless game in July. Unbelievable. Some people are just sick. No other word for it.
And see, that shouldn't happen. That's the big problem I have with social media and keyboard warriors today. At the end of the day, these guys are athletes for entertainment. People take things way too far and personal. I may want Nick off the team, but I still wish him all the best. I hope he finds another team and is able to succeed. And even if not, I wish him a happy retirement and thank him for what he's contributed to the Indians.

I wish there was a way to trace these threats back to the people who make them.
