2022 NBA Draft Safari

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Leonard Miller withdrawing from 2022 draft.

Ignite money might be more than two way contract money. The bump in salary after a good ignite season would be more than what he would get converting from a two way contract to a normal NBA contract. It's possible he could end up playing on the Ignite and still end up on a two way contract after being drafted in 2023. My guess is he didn't get any teams telling him that they would draft him and keep him on the 15 man roster.

I think he got his degree. Between transfers and what not he's been in college for 4 years. So he figured why not use my dads name to get a spot at the end of a GLeague teams bench.

It worked for Zaire Wade. Although Dwayne Wade does own a small percentage of the jazz it's slightly different. But unlike Zaire Shareef should have something to fall back on when his dads name stops getting him basketball chances.

He can always fall back on his dad's half a billion dollars and work for his dad in some capicty.

Its all about he graduated and is no longer interested in college, we will soon find out if he even wants to play ball, becasue Europe and G-League are Shareefs only options and you have to be passionate to go that route worth what his dad is worth.

From what I know he is Bruno Cabolocoed. Far away from being a mid-major college player, let alone NBA
I don’t believe that as almost all the big schools were after Miller, including Kentucky. He also held his own at the NBA Combine scrimmages and didn’t look out of place. Going to G-League Ignite is a good move as he’ll play against other pros and get some good exposure. We may not have seen him play, but this kid has tools. He’ll be a lottery pick next year- mark my words

Colling Sexton for 10, who says no? haha

The NBA says no. Sexton can't be traded until FA. And if he's traded for a draft pick NBA would investigate it and likely fine both teams and nix the trade. Like when Kings dealt Boban Bogdonovic to Bucks. Then the league said nah this ain't it.

I was joking. I know his RFA status makes it impossible. Lavert wouldn't be able to bring that value himself. him and 14 and taking back a bad contract wouldn't really be worth it either.

There are enough choices to hopefully not have to trade waste assets to get our player.

If the Cavs are not in love with someone at 14, I wouldn't mind moving back some to get a second shot at the apple in the first round. For example, could we move 14 and 39 to Houston for 17 and 26 (came in trade with Dallas yesterday)? to San Antonio for 20 and 25 (may not need to send 39)? It just seems like 39 is at the end of the "good" talent pool and that anyone we select at 14 might be available at 17 (maybe not 20). For example, if they like Eason, he is not one of the 16 players invited so far to the "green room" and could be available at 17. Then, at 26, you pick the best young player whom you believe has lots of upside, maybe Wesley, Beauchamp, Terry, Christie, Houstan, etc., who are very unlikely to be available at 39.

Don’t know how much protection have to be on the Detroit next year first round pick , but that the team I’m looking at, if I’m Sac……Just to move down 1 spot …….

There’s been a lot out there that Sac is wanting to add pieces to help them get into the playoffs. I’d ask for something like #5 and Grant for #4 and Holmes.
