Good move for Pete Nance. He’ll have a chance to be a first round pick next year.Cam Johnson pt. 2
Can't wait to see him play his way into the back of next years lottery
To be fair, it's the KingsI’ve heard both in here and from the kings that Eason Bombed his workout/interview. Is everybody trying to push his value down in hopes he will fall to them? It doesn’t make sense at all with the kings unless they plan to trade down from 4 into the wizards or knicks range.
This guys production, tape and physicals are eerily similar to college Kawhi. Either he is wearing a dunce cap or teams are trying to put the word out so he falls. The blazers interview I saw from him was pretty good.
Nothing concrete or specific, other than some shooting concerns, but I’ve heard a number of different rumors about Eason not doing well in workouts & interviews. Not interviewing well is a concern as their agents usually have them very well-prepared for the type of questions they will see.I’ve heard both in here and from the kings that Eason Bombed his workout/interview. 100% I would rather have made the playoffs than have this pick. And to think quite a few on this forum (you know who you are) would've preferred us get the experience of getting spanked by Miami 4-0 or 4-1 than the opportunity to get a critical piece.
It makes ZERO sense for Eason to not be a consensus lottery pick.I’ve heard both in here and from the kings that Eason Bombed his workout/interview. Vlade doesn’t run the front office anymore. McNair is an Ivy League guy and been decent so far.To be fair, it's the Kings
I also don't understand how he could be bombing interviews, and not just as a huge Eason guy. I've seen a decent few interviews of his and he actually comes off awesomely - respectful, engaged, fairly well-spoken, and with a noticeable emphasis on stuff like hustle and defense and diving for loose balls and shit when talking about what he can bring to a team--and in both the way he talks and what he's shown, it doesn't come off as lip service. Basically he's saying all the right things in the media interviews I've seen.It makes ZERO sense for Eason to not be a consensus lottery pick.
I don't care how badly he's supposedly bombing interviews or workouts. His physical and analytical profile are way too intriguing for a team in the 6-14 range to not take a swing.
This has to be posturing by teams. Everyone saying they don't like him so he slips? I can't make sense of it any other way.

That mitchell pick still makes no sense imo but otherwise I fully agree
I just don't think it made any sense when they already had a great young fitting backcourt and there were other comparable or better prospects on the board. Sengun stands out to me given how his game is close to sabaI liked Mitchell during the draft. I thought he was arguably BPA when they picked him last year. Problem is they kept the wrong guard. Mitchell was the perfect fit next to Haliburton. Next to Fox it's kind of a shitty fit for both Mitchell and Fox. Unless Mitchell can start shooting like he did as a senior at Baylor again.
