2022 Season | Series #14 | Guardians @ Astros | May 23-25

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Well, our first half of the inning was putrid.

Three Ks around the semi automatic walk to Jose.

Seven pitch inning for Quantrill...two routine flies and a bouncer to the mound.

Naylor Ks.

Gimenez Ks.

Clement Ks.

We haven't put a ball in play.

Offenses go through struggles.

This is no reason to cling to a delusion that if we had acquired one more hitter that things would be significantly different. They wouldn't.

I'd still think having a HR here or there could have changed our W-L some, but still wouldn't have been over .500

Having one extra HR every 8 games could have changed our W-L if that one HR came during a L that would've been a W with the HR. So in reality more like 1 W at best.

A productive hitter behind JRam would have made a huge difference so far. Wouldn't have to be just home runs....just some average with pop.

Though that being said this team either scores a lot or none, so the HRs here and there may have started rallys haha but honestly you aren't wrong in all honesty.

Quantrill worked thru two singles in the second, and now gives up a leadoff single in the third.

over half the teams in mlb are averaging (at least) one home run per game

Siri swipes second during a long at bat by Altuve.

After Altuve finally Ks, Quantrill throws the ball into center and Siri scampers to third.

Brantley walks (almost) intentionally.

Guard Pitchers collectively have Steve Sax disease this season

Quantrill worked his tail off that inning, and got thru without giving up a run.
