Do Not Sell My Personal Information

This game has put me in sleep mode. I'm gonna take a nap.

After a quick nap....

KC scores two in the eighth to win 6-4.

Single to load the bases.
Out at home on a ground ball.

Sac fly.

I nominate this for worst game of the year.
How many self-inflicted wounds, in this one?

Here's another question: When it was built, Jacobs Field was considered one of the nicest parks in the league; now it is considered middling to below-average.
No, it's not.

Or, just ignore that article and talk to fans at a game sometime. Whether it's just fans coming in for a game, the All-Star game, or the World Series, people seem to really enjoy our stadium.

Hoping for more good news from out west tonight...

No score in Minnesota after three.

Gray has been perfect so far against the Rangers, but the Twins have stranded five runners.

Having a weekend series extend into Monday is unusual, isn’t it?

The Twins just pulled of a triple play.

With runners on first and second...

Line drive to the 2B, flip to first, throw to second as both runners were going on the pitch.

Twins had the last one, too - on July 4, against the White Sox. That one was 8-5: CF to 3rd. I don’t quite get it, though: the runners were doubled off of 2nd and 1st - how? Were they going with the pitch and tagged out near third base?

Edit: Found it.

Chicago trailed 2-1 before Yoán Moncada singled home José Abreu in the seventh. With pinch-runner Adam Engel on second and Moncada on first, Pollock hit a deep drive to center that Buxton tracked down with an over-the-shoulder catch.

Engel and Moncada were running as Buxton brought in the ball. The Gold Glove-winning center fielder then threw quickly to third baseman Gio Urshela, who tagged Moncada between second and third and stepped on second to complete the Twins’ first triple play since June 6, 2021, at Kansas City.

In the bottom of the sixth, Texas leads 2-1.
