There are a ton of tickets available for the game. What happened to Cleveland as a sports town? It’s pretty pathetic
The fan base is sick of JB, they are pissed how the season went, still mad over last years pathetic effort, and annoyed AF that the only coverage they get is on how Donovan Mitchell is going to leave.

Nothing happened to Cleveland as a sports town. The fans are smart, they pay attention. They saw the Knicks series last year. They've seen JBB for 4 years. And they've seen this team all year. They know what's coming and it's not something worth paying a premium for.

JB's seat is the hottest in basketball. His team's finish games poor, they struggle rebounding and he runs players into the ground. I can't believe he isn't more respected in Cleveland.

It’s just too much money. With technology, it’s not worth the time and effort.

I'm watching ancient Kevin Love being a key part of a defense that is schematically shutting Embiid down while Bam is in foul trouble.

I don't want to see JBB back next season. If he is, I'm skipping the season.

Also just no one cares about the Cavs/basketball. It's sad down here in Akron-Canton area. I don't have a single friend who is vested in the Cavs. I have two friends who occasionally watch games. Every single one is a Browns fan though. No one in real life to talk to which is why I bitch here lol. And any time I go to a bar I usually have to ask for them to put the Cavs on.

I think you need some new friends

yeah yeah. Like Hollywood actors who promise to move out of the country if their candidate doesn’t get elected President. Somehow it never happens.

Simply put northeast Ohio is Browns town along with the economy and JBB as our HC

Cleaningtheglass.com has an interesting statistic they call "location effective field goal percentage". Here is the explanation:

"If this team shot the league average field goal percentage from each location, what would their effective field goal percentage be? This gives us a sense of the efficiency of each team's shot profile".

The Cavaliers rank 1st in the NBA in this category. IOW, if they just shot the league average from the locations where they took their shots, just average, they would lead the NBA in effective field goal percentage. Where do they actually rank? 14th.

The Cavs are the best team in the NBA at getting good shots. If they were just average at making shots from those locations they would lead the league in effective shooting percentage. But they're such bad shooters they rank 14th in eFG.
In other words, they know which shots to take and how to get those shots, they just can't make them? That is a weird stat.

Cleveland sports fans smart? Most of these people are still bitching because Joe Flacco won't be our starting qb next season . . .

Butler being out coupled with Boston vs Philly (likely) in the first round, Giannis down, Randle out, and Orlando being our first round matchup... that's opportunity knocking in the east.

Philly is playing New York in the first round. Boston will play either Miami or Chicago.

No matter how the chips fall, we're looking at Boston in Round 2 if we get past Orlando.
