2023-24 Season | Game #3 | Pacers @ Cavs | Oct. 28, 2023

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Not saying losing is fun, but I like what I saw. Missing 3 of your best players, every team in the NBA is not going to be great. We were in stride with them. Fell apart at the end, but I just like what I saw overall. Not upset.

So Evan can hit 3s... but he doesn't take them and it shrinks the floor completely. Cool.

Mobley has 28-13, LeVert has 31-8, and Strus has 20-11. The reason we are losing is the open 3s on over helping and free throws. It is the same reason for last night.

Watch JBB say we didn’t try hard enough

Honestly the offense didn’t feel a lot worse without Donovan. Like @Rich has said a couple of times, it feels like having Donovan taking over the offense takes away some opportunities for Mobley to develop and score

LeVert used up all his good shots in the first half.

Not the best start to the home campaign.

Coach had two timeouts to stop the bleeding to win yesterday and gave them nothing. Hurt the team more by calling the timeouts and wasting their time on discussing his excuse of a play out of the timeout.

And Okoro sells my parlay by missing an uncontested layup. I love this game!

Weird night to complain about Evan when he showed a ton of ability around the rim with post moves. He is a classic PF, range will come if he isnt a modern 3 point shooter, elite defense, rebounding has been better and offense is there if they give him the ball, i know we all want him to be Wemby, which he wont, but he can be a very, very good player.

We ran out of gas in the 4th. No defense on the perimeter. Goodnight!

I mean he can hit them 23% of the time and he's not in position to get a rebound the 77% of the time he misses.

Well, this was a tough game but glad the Cavs fought. Saw some good stuff overall. Okoro is really showing out this year. Mobley looked a little bit better today, but I still have no idea what happened to his touch. Levert was in the perfect position to pop off today and he did - still a very solid player but not the best fit for our roster. Dean is shooting shots he would have passed up last year which is a plus. Niang finally hit a 3, hopefully that portends good things in the near future. Strus was a great signing. HE has shown more than i thought was in his game this year and I love that. TT still looks playable for short bursts...hope we see him more in the rotation moving forward...better than Jones. And finally got our Emoni and CPJ sightings.
