Kelton Crenshaw from Cleveland.

Looking for audio.
LOL Tony Grossi.

Hey everyone, according to my inside sauces, I'm in the running to win the Mega Millions tonight after I bought a lottery ticket; in then increased my chances by 100% when I bought a second one. Others could still win, though, but pieces are falling into place.

It makes a solid bit of sense that he’d go to Cleveland given his history with watson

After Watson said they’d love to have him in Cleveland but it’s up to AB to me we feel like a front runner

It's the source, not the rumor. Hop could well end up here but I don't believe anything coming from Tony.

If we do end up with Hopkins does he pay Schwartz for the number 10? Or does he just wait for Schwartz to get cut a few days into training camp and then take the number?

Someone will just tweet that the league has made a special exception letting both Hopkins AND Schwartz wear #10 to boost ratings and Schwartz will quote tweet it with a “hell yeah”

It’s all up to how much Hopkins wants to get paid.

I read that we’ll have approximately 17 million in cap space after June 1st.

Jack Duffin is saying 2 years 25 million as a possibility and said he would trade DPJ. I can see the logic. DPJ is probably going to cost around that much after this year and Nuk is a better player and has chemistry with Deshaun.

We need to do everything we can to get Deshaun back to form.

Absolutely should be lining up a DPJ trade if we feel that Hopkins will sign with us. In a contract year there's no way it makes business sense for DPJ to stay on as a #4 WR behind Hopkins, Cooper, and Moore. Factoring in Njoku and Akins, there's just not enough targets to prove his value.

No chance I'd be moving off DPJ and I'd still absolutely love to have Hopkins.

Hopkins isn't a long term answer, but having too many good WR is an amazing problem to have.

I'm with you.

If you do acquire Nuk for just cash, then you should try and flip your surplus asset (DPJ) for draft capital or to address a weakness you still have (DT?)

Amari, Nuk, Elijah, Tillman, Bell, Goodwin is still your WR room in all likelihood. Amari and Nuk give you not just two incredible outside receivers, but two guys who can each start at the X. Elijah Moore, who is going to play slot for you, can also play outside. You just drafted Tillman to do all of that, and Goodwin is a proven 4th receiver Z type guy.

That's one of the deepest, most complete rooms in the league.

I mean, sure, ideally you'd hoard all the WRs. But as soon as you sign Hopkins, DPJ is going to demand a trade. It only makes sense from his perspective. His value may or may not lessen with a trade demand, but I'd just be proactive about seeking out a deal.

You'd have Hopkins and Cooper making good money on the back halves of their careers, Moore on a rookie deal who ideally will get expensive soon after balling out here, and Ced Tillman in development with a similar skillset to DPJ. I don't see DPJ being good enough to command big money from the Browns with salary tied up and earmarked elsewhere, so you'll have him here for this season (likely against his will) and he'll walk for a comp pick.

AB was able to talk Njoku into backing off his request, but I think it's a different situation for DPJ if Hopkins signs here.

Idk, like you said yourself, good problem to have. Won't really mind how they go about it either way.
