Newsome shouldn’t go anywhere. The Browns’ cornerback position is a highlight of the team’s roster.

Part of having a true franchise quarterback should be that quarterback’s ability to elevate the play of
those around him.

I personally wouldn’t trade Newsome; it feels like a narrative is being forced by the fans when he really hasn’t produced a comment that clearly indicates he doesn’t want to be here. Different discussion, different day.

Also, the tweet on the previous page that states “makes you wonder how the browns feel about the receivers.” No, it doesn’t make me wonder. He’s a borderline elite player that’s seemingly available and it would behoove the Browns to explore it if they feel like they may have the asset to acquire him.

Guess I’m still more concerned about the DL and LB areas than anything but whatevs. Been busy at work so I can’t do check ins until I get home but maybe I’m a little late on this one.

Wondering if folks would prefer Jerry Jeudy or Elijah Moore, all things (rumored cost to acquire, contract situation, past and expected performance, etc) considered?

I think people are in love with the prospect Jerry Jeudy and haven't watched the NFL player Jerry Jeudy.

I think he's a knucklehead who doesn't block, gives up on routes, isn't reliable for the QB, isn't reliable for the team, and drops a LOT of balls.

I also love Elijah Moore. I think he showed out in his rookie year as a solid #2 in the NFL and has Tyler Lockett potential.

You make me pick one or the other at equal price tags and I'm taking Jeudy.

I wouldn't trade 42 for either of them, but I'm admittedly very risk averse when it comes to trading draft picks for players.
