2023 NBA Draft

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
How do people feel about Tristan vucevic. I see he is mocked near our pick but I know nothing about him

Vukcevic has a combination of size, strength & skill…Has a motor…Reminds a lot of us of a young Daequan Cook.

I think it’s pretty obvious most of the posters here are pretty high on his potential if you go thru the pages

Draft & stash…. Good value… Good, good value…

When I watch video on him, I see Vlad Radmanovic. He can play some stretch four somewhere. I'm interested if he's tough enough for the NBA but sometimes that develops. The biggest knock on Sabonis coming out of Gonzaga was he didn't seem tough enough.

I also like Kobe Brown of Missouri if we get to shop the second round bargain bin.

Lauri got LOTS of questions about toughness coming out, too...

I like Kobe, but worry about his fitness/physical shape. There are absolutely reasons to pick him at #49, but he's got warts (obviously).

Sources tell cleveland.com that Akron native Chris Livingston, who is represented by Rich Paul’s Klutch Sports and surprisingly stayed in the draft despite an uneven freshman year at Kentucky, will come to town for a workout next week. Eastern Michigan’s Emoni Bates, once a ballyhooed prep star who started his college career at Memphis before transferring, is also scheduled to work out for Cleveland ahead of the draft.

The front office has invited some others, including Kansas State’s Keyontae Johnson, but he is unlikely to accept, believing he will go much higher than No. 49. Because of Cleveland’s current draft slot, many of these prospects try to limit their pre-draft exposure to places they believe they could end up. That makes it harder to line up pre-draft sessions.

The Cavs will look at all positions, experience and skillsets. Unless there is a ready-made prospect available at No. 49, they will likely target a young player with upside who can start in the G League and develop on a two-way contract -- like Isaiah Mobley.

It’s also hard to predict who will be available that deep into the draft. But Bates, Johnson, Livingston, Tristan Vukcevic, Sidy Cissoko, Marcus Sasser, Amari Bailey, Terquavion Smith, Seth Lundy, Julian Strawther are all names to keep an eye on -- if they are on the board at that time.

This guy looks interesting as hell. Anyone with more info on him? Love the passing, and if the shooting holds up that versatile package is shouting Draymond/Grant Williams type versatility (the mold, not the level).
Kobe Brown is my favorite sleeper in this draft. I’ve been worried that his stock is going to rise (try to keep it quiet) as we get to the draft. He reminds me a bit of Grant Williams but with higher IQ when he was at Tennessee. Kobe would be the perfect player to accommodate with our big men. People will forget about Love’s full court passing because Kobe has such great IQ and you don’t need JBB to instigate it because Kobe actually looks for his players to go on fast breaks.

He even shot 45% on catch and shoot which is impressive. Despite not shooting from outside early in his basketball career, he kept practicing and getting more confident. I believe his shooting is going to be even better.

I love his off ball game. I’m sure all know here by now but I’m a huge fan of players who do well off the ball. He would be so great in this offense. He knows when to find open spots. He goes back door. He gets in position for post ups. He finds places to get open even at the perimeter. He does a lot of the little things that can make offenses even better.

I love this guy so much and he’s been my target for awhile.

He is my sleeper as well. Just noticed that @I'mWithDan dropped his sleepers in March and his model likes him. He's got some Michigan State Era Draymond going on... but with a better three ball.

Of course my sleeper last year was David Roddy and he went about 25 picks higher than he was getting mocked.

Don’t think there’s anyway Strawther or Sasser are available at that slot, it Id be thrilled with either guy that late.
