I had a kind of sad realization when spring training ended-

Most of my excitement for this team lies in the minor leagues at the moment.

It's actually not all that dumb... Gomes was Kluber's catcher... And other pitchers actually have had personal catchers. It's actually not that unusual, but if Vogt doesn't believe in the idea then it's not gonna happen...

That being stated, Hedges will get in games a couple times a week...

He sure as hell shouldn't. And I truly doubt that happens. And yes , personal catchers is a stupid idea. Most managers don't do it, especially when the gap is so wide between 1 and 2.

I noticed he removed his shin protector before letting anyone really start checking him out... Power move, nope I'm not coming out on Opening Day. Next play he ends up sliding into 2nd head first... Wouldn't surprise me if he gets the day off tomorrow. Bo at C, Fry at 1B.
