I said what I said.

The Browns moved away from the old archetype of linebacker - plus size Mike, fights through blocks, run-stopper - and brought in twitchier, compact Will linebackers. Last year the only guys who fit the Will profile were Mack Wilson and Malcolm Smith, now they have three new guys who fit the bill. I'm excited to see if this group fares better against mobile quarterbacks.

Right but there is a difference between getting upset a harmless joke is even told versus not finding the joke funny.

Well sure. If shitty jokes were illegal, @Lee would have been banned years ago. I'm not even sure what B Mac posted would even qualify as a joke, though. It wasn't clever, snarky, or even mildly amusing. It was just the same boring take people have been posting here for years.

If we're going to make fun of Lamar Jackson, which I am fine with, let's at least try to be a little creative/original with it.

"Herp derp he's a RB" is not a joke.

In all fairness I believe it's "he's the best running back in the league". At least give him some credit :chuckle:

Dang. Didn't know it would get to anyone like that. It's not that serious.

I find it funny, and find it even more funny how upset it makes Baltimore fans, which is really what makes it worth it. The joke (or not joke) isnt going anywhere. Its going to be repeated for the rest of his career, whether right or wrong because non-Ravens fans know its going to dig at them. Hope it doesnt continue to get people upset, because it's really all in good fun.

Me ATTEMPTING to make a joke and it not hitting isn't something I'm going to get upset about. My kids don't laugh at me either, so Im used to it. I'm more upset that the rest of my post didnt get any attention. That was what I was really hoping would spark some conversation, not a meaningless throwaway line.

Anyway, go Browns. Have a good day guys.

At this rate I would imagine Ravens fans don't get upset about the Lamar-RB jokes, they are probably just bored with them. It is like when I hear the same tired "I took the Browns to the Super Bowl earlier today" joke over and over again. I've heard it a billion times, come up with something new.

If anything, we should be making the poop jokes about Lamar after what happened in our game with them last year.

I'll just keep laughing at the Ravens for trading away Orlando Brown Jr. and then never addressing the tackle position in free agency or the draft. That's comedy, baby.
