BROWNS OFF-SEASON 2020

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Schefter said teams are worried about other teams hacking into their Zoom virtual call now :conf (9):

This is going to be insane. Isn't it as simple as placing a super long, weird ass password? Why wouldn't they do Facetime then? How can someone hack into a "phone call?"

I don't think there's any legitimate concern about an unauthorized agent seeing/hearing the contents of a Zoom call. The easiest way for that to happen would be to hack the person--not the service. I'd go about trying to get the password from someone, either by accessing their email, physically stealing their phone, or other methods.

But, Zoom has a long list of vulnerabilities. Here's a quick, high-level breakdown:

Facetime would be unacceptable for a large meeting like this. There are other alternatives to Zoom I would use in this situation. Webex, GoToMeeting, Teams, Hangouts, etc.

the NFL must have some sort of secured connections set up between them and all of the teams. Like you said there are a ton of other options out there.

If security / privacy is a concern, just stay away from Zoom. There are far more secure collab / videoconferencing platforms out there. And the NFL can afford all of them.

Remember - this is a league full of people that fall for shit like this:

Can't fix stupid.

The New York Post confirms T.V. production of this year's draft will be an ESPN/NFL Network simulcast.
NBC'S Peter King first reported as such on Monday. With NFL Network's production capabilities shuttered as COVID-19 lockdowns remain in place, ESPN will take the lead, with NFL Network personalities mixing in. Per reporter Andrew Marchand, various prospects will "film their reactions from their draft night locations" with equipment provided by the league. It will be a decidedly lo-fi affair, though no one will be complaining considering the circumstances. With teams required to draft from home, technical snafus that would normally be annoying figure to add many moments of levity to what is often an over-serious affair.

Food for thought:

Predicts 9-7/8-8 season.
This is about where I am at right now, too. I just think there is a ton of variability. I could see the team going 6-10 again, but just as likely see them rallying around Stefanski and finishing 11-5.

I know his name was mentioned before in here and since Schefter just brought it up again, our name has been linked to a possible Draft Day trade for Ngakoue.

That would easily mean #10 is gone, more assets, + massive money in the future. LT of future is gone unless somehow we trade back up to take one of Jones/Ezra.

Having him on our team opposite of Myles? Fantastic. Should we do it? No.
