It's pretty sad when one can say that if the Browns signed Jim Brown for Sunday's game, he'd STILL be the best player on the team. :chuckles:

Hey A-Mac,

I know MORE about the NFL than I do about the NBA. TJ's wisdom is boundless! Losing a home opener against the BenGALS is inexcusable. I wonder how long it will take for Romeo to realize that his best QB may be on the bench. Charlie Frye may be the best professional athlete that Akron has produced in the last 10 years.

By the way, the Packers have called off all practices this week. The only mandated order is to show up for the game. The trainers will be replacing the gatorade with jolt cola, just so the Packers don't fall asleep.



Oh yeah, thanks for representing the Big Ten well last week. My Badgers would have ran the ball down their throats all game long. Nice job OSU. Last time Badger Nation cheers for you guys.

That offense GB has is BAD. Favre has been done, they lose two of the best OL in football, they just lost their best WR and they were bad before all of this.

Im not saying Cleveland will win, but GB will struggle to win..

and saying Fyre is our best QB, talent wise, he probably is. But only an idiot would even attempt to let him play this year. Playing him this year, meaningfull minutes, is just stupid.

Frye won't see minutes unless Dilfer gets injured, or if he has consecutive 2+ interceptions and 0-1 touchdown Sundays. Only if he plays terrible. He is not playing up to par, but I guess it's lee-way until Frye is ready and to get the defense in shape.

Green Bay will be very tough for us. We had too much trouble guarding the pass against the Bengals, I can see that happening again, even with the addition of Gary Baxter. Our safeties and corner backs are just not playing well or understanding their assignments. To go against a team with now 3 wide recievers, without one standing out, will be tough because we won't know who to guard.
