Browns @ Packers (Week 2)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
who the F cares. we won the damn game, im absolutely stoked and once again you are having this dumb argument. let it go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

edwards runs great routes, everytime they showed him he was running great ones. he should now be the #2 for now on. if trent didnt miss him over the middle he would have had close to 180 recieving. im glad we got this guy.

steve hieden makes us forget about winslow. 2 td and was able to run away from the fatty for the last score.

the D in the first half was great but it went away in the second.

roye should be a pro bowler. so glad we got this guy.

just like the preseason we made big improvements from game one to game two.

Mac, you really do sound like I did when I assessed Diop's game. Look at every little thing he did and overblow it out of proportion.

Willie Green did alright, but he did nothing to impact the game that was noteworthy of any mention. The return was nice, but it didn't count, so nothing. Plain and simple.

Reuben is doing a lot better than I expected. He's showing good versatility, catching receptions while running fairly solid. He would have had much better stats had it not been for some penalties against him as well. His fumbles are a concern, but as LePip says, Willie did it just as well last season.

I would give the OL much more credit. In these past two weeks, we have had ZERO sacks. Dilfer is a sack prone QB but the OL still held up for him and gave him ample time to make some good plays. He finally responded to this and came up big today with 67% completion and 3 TD's.

Great game, I thought we would have gotten slaughtered today. Gary Baxter saved the day.

OL, C
They didnt open anything for the running game, but they did pass protect fairly well. Not a lot of penalties either. I only recall one holding.

And just for good measure..
Will Green, B.
Had a good return, did well in blocking when he was in, had a good reception and had a helluva special teams tackle late in the game.

The O-lind has only 2 penalties. Both on Andruzie. There were NO holding penalties.

That ONE return, Green was not even supposed to catch that. If u remember what happened, he actually stole the ball away from Perkins. IF u remember, he backed up into Perkins, got in his way, and almost tripped over him! I'll say it again. GREEN is a good BACK-UP!!!

(This isnt OTEAYOR, you've done this crap like 10 times already, learn how to post in the other forums)

Bull A Mac you gave Green a B because he had a block and a negated kickoff return..

I'm not saying he had a good game, part of it was the good rush defense and part was the fact that the line didnt open very many holes. Also the play where Dilfer fumbled the snap and just threw it to him and they lost like 9 yards on it. He picked up the blitzes had a few nice screen catches and ran hard thats all you can ask. And dont talk anything about fumbles with Will Green being THE KING of fumbles everyone knows it he fumbles way way way too much. Let's quit debating this and support the starter who is REUBEN DROUGHNS Cuz as soon as Suggs gets back he will be 2nd string and Green will be at the bottom.

I was obviously being sarcastic with my grade of Green. and how is Green the king of Fumbles?

Suggs has more fumbles than Green, Rube in 18 games of being an every down ball carrier already has more than half then Green in his career.

So you should probably do some research on that subject.

And where were you at CBBI? I made that comment right after we lost, so of course I was mad. I did say Green Bay would win later on, but by a close score. I knew GB was bad, I didnt think they were this bad though.

I didnt have to read anything you said LePip, Rube had a horrible game. His rushing line is pathetic, but since he made a third down conversion and ran hard, he had a good game.

But Rube can do no wrong, he is such a good RB...

If Green had this performance, he would never be allowed to run again....Oh wait, he had 4 for 12 last week and was deemed the worst RB in the NFL, yet God's Created RB can only muster 2.5 YPC, how pathetic is that???, and it's ok.

lol.. :chuckles: :chuckles:

There was a holding penalty. On are first red zone oppurtunity, the play before the pass interference. Rube maybe caught a lil pass or ran left and Andruzzi got out in front and tackled the guy to the ground, which results in a holding penalty.

:chuckles: I did like Ruben in the game. The packers packed it in pretty well, and forced us to start throwing, but I'd still like to see us run the ball more often.

Passing worked this week, so i'm not going to complain. :D

He knows i'm right... But he'll never admit it..Nobody here really agrees with him in terms of football.. Why would they ? his football IQ is close to 0

Even those guys on that post game show with BOB GOLIC and HANFORD DIXON said the same exact thing.. Superb Pass protection and blitz pickups, Great catches out the backfield and he ran between the tackles well.. He did fumble twice, the 1st one was DIL-HOLE'S

A certain poster needs to understand there is a little more to playing that posiiton then recieving the handoff from the QB.

Trust me, he read everthing I said, he just doesn't have anything that he can counterpoint with (It's his way of not responding, and trying to save face, and maintaining the BadAssness (new word) that we all have come to know as "THE TRUTH") :chuckles:

But again, I have to say, he is one of my favorites for this very reason..

MAC being MAC

LePip... I gotta say, you have your pants down right now with that picture. It looks like the fumble that he commited, the ball is right about ready to be stripped...

Droughns is good, but he's not that good. I do think that the improved O-line is making him look better, just because our RB's from last year sucked hardcore because of the lack of blocking. Reuben, along with Dilfer, are both decent guys at the positions, but by no means franchise players nor the answer at their respective positions.

I know, that's why I posted it... :chuckles:

Obviously he is not the greatest.... That distiction goes to BUTTER FINGERS himself.... JUMP ON IT WILLIE

I figured the sarcasm. Just jumped in here trying to be the intelligent one and failed miserably.

Go Diop.

What post are you talking about???

My football IQ is 0? lol, please...because I perfer a different RB than you? Laughable at best..

He ran between the tackles well...hmm, maybe thats why he had that great 2.5 YPC avg..that must be it..

He caught the ball well and blocked well, THATS EXPECTED. Obviously, if he didnt do that, than you could have something to say. But every RB in the NFL is supposed to block, every RB in the NFL is supposed to catch a ball out of the backfield, he didnt do anything special there.

What I am mad about, is Rube did a bad job. Plain and simple, but since he is "your" back, you refuse to say he did a bad job.

Pathetic...you wont even man up to it. I can see when a player has a bad job, I had no problem calling William out. He isnt perfect, Rube is FARRRRR from that as well.

But your incapability to call a spaide a spaide is a joke.

Here is something else to make you shut up about the fumbles..

Career, Rube avg one fumble per 38 carries.

Green, avg one per 48...

so you can shut up about butterfingers again..

hey guys did you know that the browns won.

i wish we still had james jackson. :chuckles:

I noticed that, I put out my grades and lepip got his panties in a bunch because I gave his butt buddy an F.

And you are right about Edwards, that was a great route. I had my doubts on drafting him, just because he was a WR, but man, that was a very very nice play.

Dilfer said a lot of rookies would have saw the 2 defenders and tried to beat one on a horizontal route but Braylon split them and went to the house, he turned on the burners there but I beleive he can run faster, just that whoever was covering em was suckin wind loll.
