2019 Indy team had a good to great oline, for every 5 blitzes they registered a sack.
The wideouts on that team were better than what the current browns have.
The next season, the shell of Phillip Rivers got them 11 wins.
Lots of folks are gonna be surly disappointed after three games of Brissett.
This is wildly inaccurate.
2019 Colts had the corpse of TY Hilton as WR1 and then... Zach Pascal, a depth WR4 on most teams, as their WR2.
Sorry, but 10 games of an over the hill TY Hilton, and a rookie Zach Pascal aren't better than. Amari Cooper, let alone the rest of our corps.
Their o line wasn't anything to talk about outside of the stalwarts Nelson and Kelly, and their right side was terrible compared to ours. Sacks allowed is a terrible stat to judge an offensive line by for a myriad of reasons.
Brissett isn't good. If he's our starter, I think you can argue he's the second worst starter in the NFL. However, the talent on that Colts team isn't the reason why.
Oh, not to mention that wasn't even the topic at hand. The topic at hand was Garoppolo, who is better than Brissett, but also isn't a great QB. I have a healthy Baker and guys like Carr, Cousins, Ryan ahead of him. I'll put Garoppolo a tick above Goff.
