Car Advice

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Maybe.

She will have to like it, because it was not easy getting it. A lot of time and planning went into this. The demand for these things is through the roof!

Comparing both companies — Tesla won out in the end.

My joking point is you dont buy a Porsche because you want to save the planet you got her a California Camry instead, maybe the better car, but the Porsche desire wasnt for the reasons you were comparing them.

But we cannot discuss Elon on here, its a political section only, very polarizing.

We can discuss the type of person that wants the 180k Porsche and will the 80k Tesla scratch that itch?

Agreed. I’d wait until she puts a ring on it before making that kind of purchase.

And by ring I mean cock ring.
On her finger?!

I'm not sure if your girl has sausage fingers or if you just have a Twizzler down there, but that aint gonna work for most of us.

Maybe @Deezus knows how that'd work. Where does Olga wear her ring? :party smiley 004:

She has a skin tag on her turd cutter that is a perfect ring-size 8. For some reason she always takes it off when she works out though....

Screw the snow - it's the batteries plus need to heat the cabin. I'll take CO2-spewing internal combustion 10/10 in Ohio.

And on a fiance? Where does she work, Crazy Horse?
I'm pondering the Chevy Bolt, I work local and really don't put many miles on my vehicle either way. Only question is if I can fit two car seats in it; the new version is supposedly a little bigger. I still got my truck as backup in case it bad snow.

No thanks. Not a believer in that crap in northern states in the winter.
always drive my wife's X in the winter, it always does just fine (my model 3 performance tires are not made for the snow, too much bother to get different tires instead of just driving her X). EVs are heavy, so that helps give more traction.

btw: used Tesla's have gotten a lot cheaper since they've ramped their new factories.

If anyone was thinking about buying a Tesla…Pull. The. Trigger!

Just bought my fiance a Tesla Model X as an X-Mas gift and i wish it was mine. I am literally BLOWN away at how fast it is!? The gas savings is going to be insane and to be honest — it feels good knowing we are helping the environment.

She wanted the Porsche electric vehicle, but i think she will love this. Currently hiding it at my sister-in-laws, until X-Mas day.

You have to give it to Elon Musk — the guy is an absolute genius.

make sure you install the Christmas update if it's not on there, lots of cool stuff added, including full steam with a PS5 level GPU and an insane sound system (assuming it's a new X).

Don't you live in Arizona?

No. Ohio. Was snowbird for a while in Florida. Back full time in Ohio. An hour away from Cleveland and drive to most of the Cavs games. Drive the 3 in the winter when roads are fine, drive the X otherwise. Would be fine in the 3 too, but not sure what to do with the extra tires if I swapped them. House is overflowing from the stuff we brought back up from Florida.

Anyone have a Porsche or recent Jaguar?

My brother had a Porsche a while ago. He had a 911 Carrera 2s with a 6 speed manual transmission, it was a 997 for the people that know porsches. It was his favorite car ever but not practical for where he lived. He couldn't take it in any snow at all even though he has used RWD sports cars in the winter before. He said it got questionable in the rain. The front trunk only would a carry on bag and the back seat was made for a 5 year old.

He has thought about getting another one or tracking down his old one since he has more garage space now.

What kind of Porsche were you thinking about getting? 911's are the only ones outside of the ultra rare Porsches that keep their value. I used to think I would get an old Cayenne Turbo or Panamera when they became real cheap but they seem to fall into the hands of people who don't take care of them alot quicker than other old cars. You can find good condition Audi equivalents like the Q7 or A7/S7 for the same price because the 2nd or 3rd owners can still afford to maintain them.
