Cavaliers Trade Ideas: 2022-23 regular season edition

I'm not sure how or why anyone would be a Westbrook fan. His game was always trash despite the big numbers. He was the definition of a stat padder.

Please…….. in his prime Westbrook was triple double threat every night! He was only the second player in NBA history to average a triple double for a season (Big O being the first). There was nothing about stat padding in his game! This guy played hard and was relentless every minute he was on the floor. Attacked the basket with ruthless aggression (better than LBJ did)!
People are discounting him now because these past two seasons his game has declined but don’t let two bad seasons define his career!

I'm talking about his entire career. It was empty stats. I hated watching OKC play especially after KD left. His game was ugly. He wanted numbers. Watching OKC have dudes box out just so he could get cheap rebounds. He only cared about numbers never about winning.

You can’t actually believe what you’re saying, right??? Guys boxing out so “he can get cheap rebounds”! So what you’re saying is the whole OKC team didn’t care about winning! Have you ever played competitive basketball? If so would you work your ass to box out just to let your teammate grab a rebound you could get?? My God man get a grip! I watched him play quite a bit! How is averaging 10 plus assists and 10 plus rebounds stat chasing! That takes effort and a willingness to work! If he were just scoring 30-35 points a game then I would agree with you! Nobody says Harden is a stat stuffer! Nobody calls KD a stat stuffer! Neither of them have sniffed being a triple threat because they are busy shooting! Was Tiny Archibald a stat stuffer when he led the league in scoring and assists? Westbrook’s teams weren’t winning anything without his stats….who else on those teams were stepping up!

I've already stated this. As for assists. Alls you have to do is look at the crazy turnover rate. He passed the ball to pick up assists and even tried to force it to pad his assist numbers.

First team all rookie 2008, Nine out of his 14 years he was an all star, was the All Star game MVP twice, 2017 league MVP, led the league in scoring twice, led the league in assists three times….oh and my bad HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE NBA’s 75th ANNIVERSARY TEAM. Yeah Westbrook is trash. Please come back in 10 years when you’ve learned the game better.

Better without? PG hasn’t won anything yet! AD and LBJ won a *bubble title (and before AD got next to LBJ he hadn’t won Jack) Harden hasn’t won anything yet, and KD had to run to GS to get his titles and other than those two titles at GS (with the help of two soon to be HOFs) he hasn’t won shit either!

Don't know the price. But he's better than LeVert. Way better than Sexton.

I don’t think we have the assets because any deal for Mitchell has the Jazz starting out asking for one of the Big Three (Mobley, Allen or DG) AND THAT is not going to happen!
