I don’t think we have the assets because any deal for Mitchell has the Jazz starting out asking for one of the Big Three (Mobley, Allen or DG) AND THAT is not going to happen!

The Jazz turned down Toppin/Fournier and 5 first round pics for Mitchell (2 unprotected picks.)
They want 4 of the picks unprotected.
So the Love and Sexton combo probably gets a quick dial tone.

At least 3 FRPs, Cedi, Sexton, and LaVert is all I can see them wanting (maybe switch out Lauri for either Cedi and LaVert)

I don't believe the Cavs want Mitchell at all. I think what they want is to move Sexton to Utah as a replacement for Mitchell in a 3 way trade
and come out with some asset(s) that they can use now or draft picks they can use to make deals down the road.

The report is that the Cavs checked in with Utah on Mitchell, which to mind, means we heard Danny's asking price and then thanked him for his time. I suspect it's being leaked now by the Jazz with the hope that the Knicks will increase their offer. The Knicks had the best offer on the table, my supposition is that no one has come close to beating it, and training camp is starting sooner rather than later.

The Knicks have 11 FRPs in it’s arsenal! Plus young exposable talent!! Nobody (short of giving up a superstar) can put together a better package than the Knicks!
