Cavs trade: LeVert, Okoro, Windler, 2nd round pick(s)
Spurs trade: Poeltl, Richardson, McDermott

Spurs tank, pick up 2nd rounders, and save some money by exchanging McDermott’s contract for Okoro’s. If Spurs would rather have Cedi than Okoro, so be it. Everyone else’s contract in this trade is expiring.

Cavs pick up a very good backup C for their playoff run. Poeltl is starting caliber and can fill in well for when JA gets hurt. Cavs also pick up two more reliable shooters at the 2-4 spots.

Not a fan of trading LeVert for Poeltl, but I would love a trade that nets us both McDermott and Richardson. That is instant 3PT firepower off the bench.

This would be great but I doubt SAS takes this. Poeltl is a top 20 center on a super cheap salary and still relatively young. He is way overqualified as a backup C for us and probably has a value of 1.5-2 firsts which I dont see them getting in this deal

I'm not sure the 76ers want to blow it up, but I'd give them a call on Tobias Harris. He's a fantastic scorer with great size.

Cleveland gets: Tobias Harris
Philadelphia gets: Kevin Love & Isaac Okoro

Why?
Cleveland adds the much-needed tall wing. I think Harris is the best option out of all the SF's realistically available.
Philadelphia does this for two reasons. First, they eliminate his final year; he has two years left on his deal. Finally, they duck under the luxury threshold with this trade.

Harris isn’t an SF and can’t defend SF’s. He’d be a tremendous as a 6th man on this team that could play in the front court with Allen or Mobley and be a 2nd or 3rd scoring option, but he doesn’t solve the SF problem. I’d be open to it if LeVert can be used to find a better solution at SF.

I’d probably do Harris & Shake Milton for Love, Cedi, Windler. That’s 100% expiring money (Cedi is non-guaranteed).

If Harden declined his player option, Philly could have somewhere in the neighborhood of $40M-$55M in cap room to rebuild around Maxey and Embiid.

Plus he’s not the shooter we need! Tobias struggles with his outside stroke!

He's shooting 41% this year on 5+ attempts. He's had multiple seasons shooting near 40% or above. He's shooting 46% from the corners this year and is 39% for his career. He's shooting 40.6% on 4.4 catch and shoot 3PA per game this season. His shooting isn't the issue.

Like I said, he's a great option as a 6th man scorer off the bench if he'd accept that role. He can shoot the ball and has some ability to create for others. Harris could come in and clean up the front lines that Mobley and Allen wore out.

I don't really have anything against Harris as he's currently a better all-around offensive player than Love while being on par if not better as a defender at PF. Love is a much better rebounder. The problem is he doesn't solve the glaring hole at SF. If would still need to be addressed.

Thanks for the numbers! I have watched about five of the 76ers games and every time I have seen him play he struggles with his outside shot! Guess that small sampling wasn’t a true indicator.
