There were plays last night when Sexton moved the ball fine. Then those plays he went tunnel vision. But then
there were maybe a handful of plays where you could see him dribble into a shakey position, then stop and
seemingly go through the play or in the moment options in his head. I think this latter behavior is a positive
sign that the pass is getting more of his attention in lieu of 100% ball hog mode. He looks like any other
relative novice learning a new form/behavior. It looks very mechanical but give the kid a chance to
keep growing. 33 game college career and 1+ 1 /4 season of the NBA. I don't know about his college coaching
but his first year in Cleveland was spent in a rotten, nearly non-existent system.
His current play and upside is worth more than is probable to get back for him in a trade. He shows many signs that he can be no worse than a 6th man who gets 25+/- minutes on a NBA club that would be considered a deep run playoff
club.
