We have been in love with the idea of sexton as a facilitator. Given he has improved leaps and bounds as a scorer, having that 'feel' is difficult to develop. It's either you have it or not. Sexton can definitely improve his shooting, ball handling, defense and offensive repertoire but I cant see him having that 'it'. It's not Sexton's fault, it's just his nature: he is a balls to wall kind of player that it would go against his very nature to 'dance' and control the defense/pace. I would love to eat crow, but it would be impossible for sexton to be THE point guard for a playoff bound cavs.

The cavs have to make a decision sooner: make sexton a focal point on offense and get a big playmaker or trade him for assets that would make a more balanced roster (DG as point guard, okoro as a 3&d wing)
The Cavs would be insane to trade Colin Sexton. You’ve been over served.

He’s blossoming into nearly an elite offensive player on a rookie contract at the age of 22. Dollar for dollar hes one of the best values in the league today. He is the number one reason we are 9-9.

He’s as close to untouchable as any player on this roster is gonna get.

Collin will also put asses in seats once Covid is over.

Him and Love are the closers for this team...

I still believe they are a work in progress and probably need 2 more pieces added to the mix (at least one more big two way wing that can play the 3/4 and also a bigger ballhandler would be ideal for this group).
Prince and Windler, respectively?

Both guys are nice pieces. Good role players. Prince at his best could start on a winner. We’ll see how good Windler becomes.
But ideally the Cavs would have one wing that plays both ends, and can go toe to toe with the big dogs for stretches of games.

Biggest sign of the growth of sexton was when he called for that curl screen for the windier 3. It was in a semi transition moment which a year ago he would have take a pill up mid range jumper. Great sign
He did it several times.. Windler didn't bite on all of them..

I don't get it why folks are expecting chris paul level PG feels for sexton. How many pure PGs who can control the flow of the game are there? Who is the next chris paul?

People need to realize scoring guards, two way wings and rolling bigs are the future of baskeball. And we have an elite scoring guard on a rookie contract.

Yep. The Cavs are missing a true superstar. It's unfortunate because obviously it's the most important piece to a winner, but it's honestly the only piece they're missing lol.

Take any top 15 wing position player in the league, stick them on the Cavs, and they're an EC conference contender going forward imo.

I havent had a chance to watch whole games, but has Collin gone for the repositioning 3 that makes Steph so good? I really think that would be a great skill for him to add
Not really. Collins more of a 5ankle height dribbles as the defense steps off and he pulls up move. Garlands step back is the one we need to see more of

That interview with Lowe is very enjoyable.

Makes me like Collin more.

His 3 pt rate has gone down. I think if he took more his advanced stats would be really amazing. He's been hitting on all the shots he takes. He has literally had 2 bad shooting games i think. His shot selection has been great, and it seems like his pet shots, he almost never misses.

What did he say?

Was a little hurt by the veterans saying he couldn't play basketball in his rookie season but it motivated him to get better.

According to Lowe,Koby keeps that same article in his phone.

DeAndre Jordan and Bruce Brown was talking trash and knew the ball was coming to him in the first Nets game...And,clap in front of the Nets bench after he made the game tying shot.

Him and Kevin Love talked late in the fourth quarter on what coverages and what matchups to exploit in the first Nets game. Make sure to talk to Love in games.

After,he signed with his agent. His agent came to see while he's working out with his dad. He had a workout where he had to make ten shots in a row from various spots on the court or he had to run 'x' amount of suicides. Not only, does he have to make ten shots in a row;the ball gotta go through the hoop with without hitting the rim. He considered hitting the rim a bad shot...

He was at Game 4 of the Cavs/Warriors series where the got swept. The next day Sexton went to the facility and started working out with everyone in the organization being quiet due to the loss and knew Lebron was leaving. Sexton start making shots and impressed the organization with his work ethic. Towards the end of the workout everyone was in good spirits.

Lowe said he became a fan of Sexton when the Cavs played the 76ers towards the end of his rookie season. The Cavs loss a close one but liked when Sexton started talking trash to Embiid and Simmons during the game. His teammates was impressed by Sexton's demeanor in that game...

The two popular topics in the Cavaliers travels are animals and geography.Says Dotson thinks he can outrun a lion while Nance is a buzzkill...lol

What's to improve on defense and decision making.

Him and the team wants to change the culture of the organization.

Didn't fully endorse the nickname but understands the fans likes it....hahahaha
