In Curry's first three seasons he averaged only 4.6 to 4.8 three-point attempts per game. Then in his 4th season it jumped to 7.7 and stayed in that range until in his 7th year it took another jump to 11.2 and it stayed there from then on.

I don't see Garland ever shooting 11 3's per game, especially on the same team with Mitchell, Mobley, and Allen. Garland looks to get into the paint as often as possible and only shoots 3's within the flow of the offense. The Warriors continually set perimeter screens to free Curry for 3's. The Cavs set screens for him to set up pick-and-rolls with the goal of getting a dunk off a lob or a high percentage floater in the lane.

I think the best use for Garland is as a microwave scorer off the bench, but ultimately he’s only a depth piece on a contender.

For people thinking the Boobie Gibson comp was real, it was a joke. Way back in Kyrie's rookie year, he was once called a Rich man's Boobie Gibson. I do not remember who made that comp but it always amused me.
