He was working really hard on defense, so maybe that is all it was, but he doesn't look confident right now offensively

The offensive will come back. Not too worried about it. His defense has been impressive though. There is a ceiling on how good you can be on defense with Garland's size and nongirth (ie not cp3 or lowry thick) but he is very close to that. Love the constant effort and has shown some solid instincts

Probably the best defence I’ve seen him play last night. It’s not like he completely whiffed on offence either. He had 27. He just needs to see a few threes go in. I’m not worried.

Maybe it just seems like this, but Garland's shooting percentage and assist:turnover ration in the last 5 minutes of games has got to be among the worst in the league.

I have no confidence that Garland will make make the big shot or the right decision during winning time.

DG's hesi moves are some of the best in the NBA. Absolutely ridiculous how he yo-yos defenders and bursts into space when the defender is mispositioned.

Garland has caught a lot of flack this year and there's still things he can improve, but overall he has gotten better. Sky is the limit.
