No knock on Barnes, he is great, and might end up being a superstar, though certainly biased to Mobley winning it (duh). However, I really do think it's unfortunate high level of skill on defense doesn't translate to stats. I'd say that, missing the playoffs, and the fact the Cavs have basically zero national coverage.... it was an uphill battle. Even, if Mobley was the clear winner, he probably would have really struggled to get it being in Cleveland. Regardless, Scottie certainly deserved it too. So...? Hopefully Mobley is more the type to take that as fuel to get better, and not the type that gets deflated.
I can't.Imagine voting Mobley third.
Try pleaseI can't.
You make it sound like Barnes doesn't play defense. While,Mobley is the better defender by a small margin; Barnes play good defense too. What separates Mobley and Barnes is that Barnes has a more polished offensive game than Mobley. Mobley and Barnes will probably be the best two players in their draft....imo
Garland spoon fed Mobley a lot of baskets. He has a long way to go on offense. I argue with everyone about how much more polished barnes is right now.
I don't want to try.Try please
