I remember when there was a belief here that Johnson would be kept rather than adding Kwan to the 40 man. Thankfully that never happened. Wish him well though.
 
What happened to Bobby Bradley? I don't see him anywhere.
 
Not much room for bat-first players who can't hit... Here's to hoping Noel can work on that hit tool.

You said there's not room then named one on the 40 man. Dude has way too much power for no team to have him in camp. Something is up with him, I really hope he's ok.
 
Bradley never was able to make contact as well as Noel, and didn't have the overall power.

Noel may not be much of a defender, but at least he has some flexibility, which Bradley did not.
 
Yeah Noel is definitely a stronger guy, but his most recent performance isn't much different from Bradley with regards to contact. His K rate did appear to get more on track in AA though so as long as he keeps it around that rate in AAA this year I think he leaps way ahead of where Bradley is at.

I like Noel, just he's going to need that hit tool to come through to some degree which it clearly never did for Bobby. Even if he just gets to Franmil (now on KC) level that will be a win for me. Thinking about KC, they might have a pretty good lineup this year and if they can get anything out of Franmil they could be somewhat of a dark horse. I just don't think they have enough pitching though to really contend for the title.
 
At age 20, Noel played at three levels...A+, AA, AAA....548 PAs....27.4 K rate...32 HR...2 triples...26 doubles.

At age 20, Bradley played at A+...572 PAs...29.7 K rate...29 HR...1 triple...23 doubles.

He was the definition of all or nothing, and unfortunately it was way too much of the latter.
 
So I am high as fuck and was reading a thread about the Cavs adding a big man to the roster before I read this thread, so I was in Cavs mode. I skipped to this thread and saw Noel and was thinking Nerlens Noel and adding him.

I then saw Bobby Bradley and was who the fuck is that? It didnt accure to me the Guardians kid that didnt work out because obviously this is a Cavs thread.

Long story short to quote an all time great Cavs big man...Dont do drugs kids.

Still laughing at my stupidity though, lol
