This is the undersell of the century, c'mon

Hey, if people could say that about Sashi, I'll say it about Dorsey then.

I'm fine with Dorsey at the moment, but if he doesn't hire the right coach, then he's no better than Phil Savage, IMO.

Well, Reid had the primary say with the Chiefs and was a lower level guy with the Packers.

People said that Sashi Brown picking Myles Garrett was a no brainer. I'd say the same with Baker.

And this team, as currently constructed, has a fatal flaw and a bad HC whom he hired. So excuse me if I don't fall over myself giving him awards he hasn't earned yet.

Considering this entire board (90%+) wanted Josh Rosen. Nah, I don’t think you can say that about Baker.

Compelling argument, I can tell you've thought this through.

Drafted the best QB we’ve had since Kosar.

Put together the most talented team we’ve maybe ever had.

Built the super bowl contender chiefs. Built the super bowl contender Packers.

I like Dorsey but sometime it feels like he makes decisions that will make him look like he was smarter than everyone else. I think ultimately if the Browns win, he wants all road to lead back to him and so there is no doubt that he built it.

I think he really wants the credit that he didn't get with the Chiefs and the Packers.

I'm not talking about here. Most NFL decision makers knew who was and wasn't worth it in that class (except Lamar)

I'm just saying, to say that Dorsey is 100% the guy based on hitting on 3 picks is crazy. Especially since he is the one who hired Kitchens in the first place.

Nothing he's done should give him undying loyalty at this point.

Why are people going at Dorsey?

I think because alot of what this team is, is from moves Dorsey made. Like Freddie is the head coach but it never felt like he hand picked his staff. The o-line is on Dorsey, he didn't upgrade it at all in the off-season. Shit even it feels like Callaway is the #3 WR over Higgins because it Dorsey's pick and Dorsey has no intentions of resigning Higgins despite the obvious chemistry between him and Baker.

So if we use the cliche that Dorsey is shopping for the groceries are you telling me that these groceries are 2-5 and the most undisciplined team in the league? Regardless who is coaching them?

Um....people have kept saying we should've reached for Lamar, or even Buzz McCallister Darnold, or Josh Allen, or even Rosen [!!!!!]

All are ridiculous claims, but disprove the "no-brainer" comment.

Baker really wasn't a no-brainer.

I sure as shit didn't want him, and I was one of the people advocating for Lamar or Darnold.

I think he's alright. He just is the victim of bad coaching and a bad culture right now. I'm getting Tim Couch flashbacks to be honest.

Baker was the furthest thing from a no brainer. Was a pretty shocking pick at the time.

To back up Amherst though, and I know Triple will get mad, but we are along ways from “Baker is the guy” at this point. Just have not seen anywhere close to enough.
