Game 44 | Cavaliers vs. Lakers | January 21, 2010 | 8:00 EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
JJ was ready to go from the opening tip. He grew up tonight.

Danny Ferry should win executive of the year. Acquiring Shaq has changed the cavs in so many ways. I love that we are extremely physical. I truly believe we are the best team in the league.

To all my younger real cavs fans out there.... after a big win there is nothing like celebrating at a bar across the street from The Q with your boys! Go Mother Fucking Cavs Baby! Patron to the Dome!

Drinks on me!!! Ill meet you guys there.

:chuckles:

That was really fun to watch, but damn LeBron, don't you know when enough is enough on the threes? We let them tie it there for a second.

Of course, if he just hits a couple of those we win by double-digits, so whatever.

Did anyone else notice Delonte's smothering defense on Kobe in crunch time? I know that AP played Kobe most of the game, but when Delonte was guarding him Kobe just disappeared. I noticed Delonte defending Kobe's shot like Shane Battier does, attempting to blind Kobe. The difference is Delonte's hops allow him to really get in Kobe's grill, like when Kobe had that horrible miss that led to an offensive rebound and an Artest 3.

Honestly, I trust Delonte to guard any PG or SG in the league.

Cleveland will get drunk off your tears tonight Bean.

But seriously, last year we witnessed something special with our 66-win team, but this year is just as grand and another gem was added with this victory. Bask in it Cavs fans, we're in the new (wine and) golden age.

TO BE FAIR

Kobe is nursing three injuries right now.

However, we still got it done tonight. Kudos to the boys.

Not to sound idiotic, but sometimes I think that Kobe publicizes his injuries so he can A) look tough (which he is) and/or B) have an excuse(s) for poor shooting nights.

I am willing to bet that a lot of the guys playing tonight for both teams have at least some sort of injury.

Great job by Shaq getting the Lakers front line in early foul trouble.

I know we won tonight, but with Mo out we can't keep winning without boobie and Dwest shooting 3 or 4 times total with one hoop. Dwest has to be more aggressive and lebron has to trust him and urge him on. We can live with Dwest offense like it was tonight, he was so tentative it was like he wasn't out there on the offensive end.

I don't know...if we can beat LA with the way we played tonight w/out Mo, I don't see how we couldn't beat anyone else.

IMO Mo out dosn't hurt the starters much the only place it will hurt us is the bench. While Delonte plays alot different then Mo they both can play give the same amount of production.

im glad that the cavs won tonight. shaq played well and showed that he can be the difference maker if the cavs make it to the finals.

I'd go crazy with rep for anyone who has a gif of Phil Jackson's T-Mac pouty face at the end of the game.
