Game 44 | Cavaliers vs. Lakers | January 21, 2010 | 8:00 EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I know it's too soon to say this, but it has to be said:

It's LeBron's league now. Tonight just about sealed the deal (except last missed FT).

Too soon?

More like too late. IMO he's been the best player in the league for a couple years now.

This team gets up when we play the Lakers and we are winning. Picture getting 'Tawn to add his offensive game and his presence. I will bust a nut.

Got dammit, I fuckin' hate Le-Iso offense!!! Why don't we run any fuckin' plays for the other 4 players to get involved?! Why can't we ever......

Oh, wait. We won. Nevermind. /endrant :headbang:

Great win, guys. Shows how deep and great this team actually is.

If there was a consistent scorer at the 4 position, I'd feel extremely comfortable without Mo. I like the way our defense looks with Delonte and Boobie getting those minutes. Not saying that I want Mo gone or anything but it gives us that added versatility.

can anyone make a gif of SHAQ telling BRON BRON to go to the fukn hole

I agree with you, but I think even the haters are going to have to start admitting it soon.

This kind of performance -- especially b/c Cavs won both matchups this year and look to have the stuff to be able to win it all this year -- is a torch-passer, or could very well be one when we look back in a few years.

I'd just like to chime in and say that JJ Hickson showed up big time tonight. He kept us alive in the first half with his boards and dunks. I don't care if majority of them were easy buckets, he got it done tonight against the defending champs. JJ's solid play gave Varejao rest until we really needed his energy and you could see that in the 4th quarter. Also Shaq's play drawing fouls down low and absolutely destroying Bynum all night deserves some credit.

This stretch will be tough without Mo as the second option but we can manage as long as our frontcourt continues to abuse opposing teams. Scary thing is, Powe has yet to get in there. We will wreck havoc on the boards with a healthy Leon Powe.

Delonte may not have filled up the stat sheet in some areas, but he led the team in +/- (tied with JJ) and more importantly, he played 43 minutes.

Those are the kind of minutes Mike Brown gave him last year in critical games. He also had Kobe guarding him tonight for a lot of the game, rather than Fisher. He'll have games with more points/assists, but obviously Mike Brown saw things he liked from Delonte even before those kickass plays in the 2nd half.

Congrats to him for nearly doubling his season average in minutes and playing hard to the end.
