Game 44 | Cavaliers vs. Lakers | January 21, 2010 | 8:00 EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Defense ruled. GREAT win. Cavs win with more turnovers by far. Allowed more offensive rebounds by far. BUT: forced Kobe to take bad shots. Made Kasol and Bynum look like high schoolers against Shaq, Z and Andy. Shaq was huge tonight. I can't remember a real clean look/shot allowed by the Cavs in the entire second half. Every shot seemed to be contested or good closeouts on the shooter. LeBron came up totally huge AND clutch.

The Lakers truly FELT the Cavs tonight. They have lots to think about between now and the trade deadline, and then the FINALS. Our Bigs own their bigs..... two straight games now.

LMAO!!! Did anyone see MB really pissed at LBJ and like push him after Lebron airballed that 3?

OO, that GIF of Shaq telling LBJ to go to the hole would be nice.

oh and why the hell did boobie only get 1 shot...?

I'd just like to chime in and say that JJ Hickson showed up big time tonight. He kept us alive in the first half with his boards and dunks. I don't care if majority of them were easy buckets, he got it done tonight against the defending champs. JJ's solid play gave Varejao rest until we really needed his energy and you could see that in the 4th quarter. Also Shaq's play drawing fouls down low and absolutely destroying Bynum all night deserves some credit.

This stretch will be tough without Mo as the second option but we can manage as long as our frontcourt continues to abuse opposing teams. Scary thing is, Powe has yet to get in there. We will wreck havoc on the boards with a healthy Leon Powe.

Shaq was HUGE tonight. In the third when they started running the offensive through him and he was getting guys easy looks or getting buckets, that was big.

JJ played great all night tonight. Hopefully he can keep that level of effort every night on the glass.

Shaq had two key stretches. One came in the second quarter with about 7 minutes left when the offense was stagnating. Shaq slowed the pace down and helped keep the score close at halftime. The other key sequence came at the beginning of the fourth when Lebron went to the bench. The offense ran through Shaq and the second unit with really no other playmakers never lost the lead.

God damn, what a game... honestly as fun as a regular season game can get.

And Kobe ass-riders: this game is the perfect illustration of why so many of us hate his play. Horribly inefficient and dominating the ball, to the point where his teammates are almost completely frozen out. And Pau is who we thought he was. It sure is fun to beat you guys.

WHO WAS THE LITTLE PUSSY Who Was STANDING UP AND WAVING TO THE CROWD eveytime the LAKERS scored.. HIS FRONTRUNNING ASS can kiss or ass.

"So in 2 games vs. Cavs, Kobe shot 23 for 63. Brutal. Not a fair fight with his 2 busted fingers and splint on shooting hand."

AP deserves some credit. He hit a couple of big 3s and even though Kobe scored over him, his d looked pretty good.

When I saw Kobe not passing ball in 1st quarter, I knew we were gonna win cause pau, bynum,odom,etc... weren't gonna be ready in 2nd half when it mattered.

Anyone know what song Bron was rapping in the timeout at the end of the game?

To all my younger real cavs fans out there.... after a big win there is nothing like celebrating at a bar across the street from The Q with your boys! Go Mother Fucking Cavs Baby! Patron to the Dome!
