GAME 68 | Cavaliers vs Heat | Wednesday Mar. 20 7:00 pm

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Final thing, but the refs need to get off of Miami's dick. Heat shot 30 FTs tonight to Cavs 17. More impressive is that Chris Anderson, a guy who never actually gets the ball on offense, somehow ends up with 8, which is twice as many as any of our players.

Stuff like this is more of a reason for tonight's loss. I didn't know that hand checking, reach ins, and defensive 3 second violations were suddenly permissible--although it apparently only applies to certain teams and players. That last out of bounds ruling was a joke too.
Heat shouldn't lose again the rest of the season with the breaks and advantages they're given.

This loss hurt, but I am glad we played them tough. We could have easily gotten killed. Sigh...another moral victory

In the whole second half, they combined for taking only 5 shots, making 2 of them.

Walton had an assist, a steal, a made a shot, a missed shot and two turnovers
Gibson took 3 shots, made a 3, had one turnover

We blew a 27 point lead. How do you blame that on 3 turnovers and 3 missed shots?

Because Boobie couldn't get this team a single decent look. Walton also picked up several stupid fouls at the end of the third giving away free points. You don't have to make actual turnovers to suck on the court. It can come in the form of terrible shots for other teammates, bad defense (like letting Chalmers blow by him consistently) and forced shots at the end of the clock.

The -34 and -26 +/- stat really speaks for itself.

Weve seen the Cavs wilt under pressure and give up big leads a couple times this season. weve seen lebron claw his team back down plus 20 in the past only he was wearing a different uniform. the guys came out strong and played hard and then faltered under defensive pressure.

Cavs took their shot and came up short. I can only hope dion and irving watched this game and learned something tonight along with the rest of the team.

you can point out the refs and individual players but overall the Cavs were in control of this game and they let it get away.

again, what other options do we have? I think we pushed Livingston and Ellington to their limits for minutes. Neither are used to anything like that. Livingston was right at his season high, Ellington was above his. Both guys were about double their season average.

Our biggest problem maintaining our lead was on the other team when LeBron took over the game. When we had our lead, people were talking bout holding LeBron to single digits. He finished with 25-12-10. Even with that, we had a shot to win had the refs got that out of bounds call right.

This.

People were upset when we were leaving 3-point shooters wide open, but this starter after LBJ got hot. It's like, what are teams supposed to do at that point? He gets hot, no one can possibly stop him 1on1, so guys help. Guys help, and being the greatest play maker in the world, he finds the open shooter. There is no stopping it.

Let me just tell you how fucking ashamed i am for being a season ticket holder. This team is terrible, but most of all, the fans and city are terrible. It was 60/40 Cavs fans, yet i kept seeing cavs fans around me cheer Lebron. The fuck? Also, i saw numerous people with Browns and Indians hats on with Heat jerseys. What the fuck people?

Then that fucking idiot on the court, embarrassing ourselves again.

I'm tired of this circus shit that comes along with out sports teams, we need to get it together guys. Because i am fucking DONE with this bullshit.

The cHeat played hard for a quarter and half, and that's all it took.

Just got back from downtown. The game was a ton of fun, especially at the begging. I was confident we had the game won. Can't believe we blew that lead.

Also, there were way too many Heat fans.

The guy that ran on the court said "I miss you. Please come back" to LeBron.

I promise it wasn't me.

Judging by some of the earlier threads, I'm guessing I can't curse uncensored here, so here goes.

That fan represents everything that makes me wish LeBron never, ever, ever played one game in a Cavs uniform. Seriously, F*** LeFavre at this point. I don't care if he comes back, I care more about whether this team can be a playoff team with a threat to spoil dreams of a few teams, including the Heat (should they crack under the new CBA in a couple years or so) with Kyrie as the centerpiece.

What I liked was Tristan. HOLY CRAP. This game wasn't even supposed to be close with both Dion and Kyrie out.

This game was a tank. 100% WWE, with LeFavre playing the role of John Cena, Byron Scott playing Vince McMahon, and that one ref being the spiritual successor to Earl Hebner in Montreal.

Bleh.

When is Luke Walton getting off the team again?

LeFavre?

Shitty game. Some of Byrons decisions were mind boggling. Not as bad as the fucking obnoxious heat fans that surrounded me. When the heat made the comeback, it was horrible. They were all loud and being dicks and the volume was so great it was sickening. I booed to the end obviously but still I underestimated the number of bandwagoners that would show up... terrible.
