Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If we start winning and make a top 4 seed (what it takes to win those awards)...wouldnt JBB and Koby DESERVE coach and executive of the year?
Did Mike Brown deserve COTY when LBJ led us to a 66-16 record? Of COURSE not. He was along for the ride.

Sometimes, it’s the players making the coach look good.

Instead of talking about trading Ricky Rubio after his near 40 at the Garden, why aren't we talking about leveraging the guy who he replaced in the lineup resulting in the ball moving more and us turning a close game into a bench clearing win?

This team is learning how to win.

Rubio plays as big a role in that as the coaching staff, to my eye.

I'm more interested in Okoro coming back and starting at the 2 as soon as possible and never looking back, than I am trading Rubio anytime soon.

I'm afraid of what would happen to the young guys morale if Rubio gets traded half way through the season. That sends the wrong message. I fucking know they appreciate his presence and guidance.
If Rubio gets traded halfway through the season, _I_ throw my feces around my enclosure. THAT’S what you should WORRY about!

Okoro’s not a starting SG. He’s a great back-up, tho.

I have no idea what Rubio wants but to me it's gonna depend a lot on how the team looks, I'd think. And that's the hard part to predict.

If we look like Atlanta did last year, he'll probably want to stay.

If we sorta flounder and scrape for an 8th seed or just miss the playoffs...probably less likely to want to stay.
He’ll probably want to stay, if he’s having fun. And how could he not be having fun?

So, would you trade Rubio/ Love/ Osman for Kyrie and Harden right now?.. like I am sure it doesn't work on trade machine, but if it could be done and the nets were willing ,, would you do it??

OMG what a win! I think we have the league's attention now.

In the preview I thought both teams would score about 100 and it would be close. I didn't count on a Rubio volcanic eruption; 37 points and 10 assists. And what a perfect time for it with Sexton out the second half. By the way, Collin had 8 points and 4 assists in 13 minutes.

The Cavs exploded for 70 points in the second half as Rubio went crazy and Garland, Windler, and even Mobley were knocking down 3's. The numbers are incredible.

The Cavs shot 54.4% from the field and 54.3% on 3's. That's with Cedi going 0-for-5. He's been our best long range shooter.

The Cavs had 31 assists and outrebounded the Knicks 48-32. Awesome!

Mobley had a line of 26/9/5 including two 3's and two jumpers from the elbow. He's getting comfortable facing the basket. Allen had a line of 18/17/4 and outplayed both Robinson and Noel.

Julius Randle was held to 7-for-17 and a -22. Allen did a great job on him. R.J. Barrett was 3-for-13 and a line of 6/3/1. He was totally neutralized.

I was impressed with Obi Toppin off the bench; 11 points in 11 minutes and he didn't miss a shot. In hindsight I wish we had taken him instead of Okoro.

So the Cavs play the 6-3 Knicks on the road without Markkanen, Love, Okoro, and no Sexton for the second half and still win by 17. Un-freaking-believable. Players, coaches, and execs around the league have got to be WTFing when they see the Cavs putting up win after win on the road against quality opponents.

Seven wins in nine games and the Cavs are still getting better game by game. This was supposed to be the brutal early schedule where they get steamrolled and people talk about a it being good learning experience. Instead, it's the opponents who are trying to figure out how to beat an unconventional team like this.

Absolutely not.

I don't understand the question?

Am I getting a James Harden who isn't pissed off about being here and wants to play?

Because if so, then yea, obviously, 12 times out of 10.

Two of my least favorite players in the league?

No, thanks. I wouldn’t want to have to root for those guys.

So when you consider that, the whole trade Rubio motif looks ridiculous on its face..

Its believed the trade was promissed to rubio. We will see at the deadline, if Rubio is traded we know its what Rubio wanteded.

It came out after that LNJ wanted to go to Portland and the team abliged for him being loyal and a good teammate. We will see, Rubio might be having too much fun to want to leave.
