The first one? The second one? Or the third one?Sure would love to take away those two points Durant got on that phantom foul earlier in the game.

That's a huge thing for him. He had the nice second half the previous game against Brooklyn but it seems like he often has better first halves than second halves.Garland will need to figure out how to create and score when the other team takes his pnr away. Also improve his stamina.

Also, you're right when talking about how poorly we set picks. I was watching Garland run some all the way around the baseline U shaped Steph Curry like action but literally none of the guys he went around were able to deter the guy chasing him so when he curled back up to the midpoint between the corner three and top of the 3P line 3, his man was still dead on him.
Curry(Korver back in the day) runs that kind of action and ends up getting around the last pick with tons of space for a catch and shoot three. It's a big expense of energy but it results in a great look. But since the picks/obstructions were so poor, Garland burnt a ton of energy just to end up with a defender still right on his hip.
Even though they are both pencil thin, it is something that both Mobley and Allen are going to have to learn to do/commit to doing, but without throwing their hips into the defender and getting the offensive foul. Davis isn't huge but he is wider/more girth than those two and seems to know how to use his width to set a proper screen/pickThe best actions we ran was with Ed screening for Love and Lauri in the first half. He freed them up completely. We have no other screener. It ducks up the offense.
Garland is a core guy lol. He's already an above average starter as a 21 year old. Even if he never develops into a star (though I believe he can), that doesn't mean he's not a core piece going forward.Make a longer post about it later but I don't wanna be one of those teams just always waiting for the next lottery pick and THEN it'll be time.
Mobley and Allen are a core two guys.
I'd be more than ok with Koby taking a major league swing based on what we've seen these first twenty games to help those two guys out. Risky, yes, but think about how many prime time players small market teams have wasted.
I'd be ok with taking a big risk and moving a bunch of pieces and picks if the deal became available.

If Pangos can't play then bring up Kyle Guy.I agree Garland can't handle the workload. Pangos must play.
How do you have that as a better season statistically? He's actually not. He's like right on the money average.
I'm not trying to piss people off about Garland because I Know people love the kid but as of right now he's essentially a Dennis Schroeder level player.
Not necessarily a bad thing at 21. But that's an average starting point guard.
Just for fun, go look up Cole Anthony's numbers.
Would oyu be surprised to know he's having a better season statistically?
Does that make you feel better/worse about Garland?
