Get Excited Somewhere Else: John Dorsey

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
And everyone has talked themselves back into three years of Browns just like that...again...

So piles of leaves will be left sitting, grass unmowed, children ignored...all because of another “exciting hiring” (!!!!!)

@natedagg @Huber. @SuperSurge

Meanwhile Jimmy still owns them, Hue still coaches them.

You guys are something else. :chuckle:

At least the Sashi fan club is dead now

So maybe this has been explained but how did we already have this hire in place and conduct interviews before Sashi was even fired?

At least the Sashi fan club is dead now

No, itll revive when Dorsey leads the Browns back to respectability. Sashi will get the credit.

We get it, some of you hated Sashi. It's getting fucking insufferable

Between that and anyone who has anything positive to say about Sashi being labeled a "Sashi fan boy", it's beyond insufferable.

BTW, let's move all Sashi talk back to the Sashi thread.

Nope, not me.

Actually like the Dorsey hire, but with Hue here, I'm expecting 4 wins, tops, next season.

We won't be good for as long as Hue is the coach.

I liked Sashi. But IDGAF if he's the sacrificial lamb out of this whole mess, he'll land on his feet with a nice addition to his resume and time will tell the whole story of his judgement.

It looks like the new guy is okay with Hue at least for next year, and it looks like Hue is okay with hiring an OC/play caller. I would assume the new OC will be an heir apparent in the event Hue fails to effectively perform as head coach or win football games, so there can be some semblance of continuity if Hue needs to be fired down the road.

I know a lot of people are pissed that Hue survives but every indication to me has been that he knew he still has some rope left. I'm fine with this because maybe now we can start some kind of orderly pattern of continuity and succession until we end up with the right coach or group of coaches to guide all the young talent this team is going to have after this draft.

I have to believe that if this team isn't at least respectable next year Hue's head will be the next one on the block.

We get it, some of you loved him. Equally insufferable.
