just a quick update. even though i didnt ask for it. amazon prime refunded my rental. whether this was part of a rental audit they normally do or a result of my membership cancellation. I wont be adding prime back but i have a positive outlook on the company now

Yes, you have to have a subscription to HBO to access HBOGO. This question gets asked a lot. Unless you know a way to download the shows, or have someone who'll give you their login info, you're S.O.L.

Yes, both shows are great. HBOGO has every series they ever put out. It's fantastic.

Ooh I never thought of that. I'm sure I know an aunt or something that has HBO and never even watches it or cares about HBO Go, and I could use their info to get it? I wonder if their are measures in place to prevent that. I'll try to find a way.

You can share their login if they don't mind. It's kind of a pain in the ass though, you need her cable or satellite provider login name and password.

Also HBO is like 15 bucks a month, I drink a few less red bulls and it evens out.

I've never even seen Boardwalk Empire so I could potentially have three great shows to watch that I've never seen if I can get it. Maybe one of them will break my top 5 of favorite shows. I got Breaking Bad and House of Cards at one and two. Sons of Anarchy at three maybe. I don't know, I need some good shows to watch.

I ride or die for the Sopranos personally. Still a top notch show. Only thing that's aged is some of the tech references, but at some point I'm sure a truck load of DVD players was a valuable thing.

With HBO GO you have access to a ridiculous wealth of great shows.

And the list goes on and on. For me, The Wire still holds the championship belt. I don't know if it will ever lose it, to be honest.

That is amazing. I've been really wanting to see Eastbound & Down for awhile now. Of course I've heard alot about The Wire. There is almost an overwhelming amount of good shows that I want to watch and I don't even know how to begin or approach it.

Eastbound is great but season 3 was a little bit lacking. Season 4 really made up for this, however.
