I was fine with him only developing a corner 3 and enough handle to make a defense move along with his already solid hoops IQ and very good defense. Those two traits make him an upper level starter.

Now I've got the taste: I want next level-mash-up of Jimmy Butler/Jaylen Brown please.

So it was coaching all this time stopping this man from ascending?
Yes. He was a completely polished finished product that could have been producing like this from Game 1 except JBB’s incompetence or deliberate sabotage held him back. That’s why JBB has limited his minutes - he ranks first on the team in that category in fact, completely reprehensible.

Koby deserves no credit for drafting him and the coaching staff deserves no credit for developing because this is Real Cavs Haters dot com, where the franchise is trashed 365/24.

/sarcasm over.

Okoro has the highest upside of anyone on our team. Pops would kill to have him become a Spur.

He showed off his finishing, floor vision/playmaking, his improving handle, and some glimpses of shot making. If he adds that mid range pull up, he's going to be tough to handle.

His balance, center of gravity, and fluidity on the deep 3 around 1:38 is extremely promising.

Looks a lot different than most of his catch and shoot 3s...almost looked like Kawhi's release on that one.

If they can reshape his jumper to consistently look like that, sky's the limit. Especially with the way he was navigating pick and rolls as the ball handler yesterday. Encouraging.

All three of them have at least 50 starts. Nobody else has more than 32. Obviously you haven’t been paying attention.
Umm, before last night, 90% of posters on this board were critical of Okoro. Perhaps you should pay closer attention. That said, Okoro has yet to excel when on the court with both Garland AND Sexton. That’s why I made the obviously unpopular observation. But go ahead and flame away.

I responded to your question as to how the team can start all three players, and I responded with facts. Nothing in your question had anything to do with excelling.

I don’t care about what % of posters were or are critical of Okoro. You came in hear pissing on Okoro’s great night and then wonder why you get pushback. I specifically limited my reply to a factual matter but you clearly came in to rain on the parade. Whatever.

You stated Okoro has the highest upside of anyone on team. How is that a “fact” rather than an opinion?

I'm liking his jabstep. His finishing around the rim looks a little awkward and I wish he'd go up stronger but he's showing a lot more in terms of getting to the rim, forcing himself there. Like some sort of adolescent bovine...

Had a higher scoring rookie game than Sexton, DG, or KPJ. Had the most efficient 30 pt game for a rook since Z in 1998. It's not a fact, but it's not outlandish.

When you watched the game, what didn't you like about what Okoro was doing?

He easily the rawest rookie we have taken in 3 years, and yet had the highest scoring most efficient single game as a rookie. Even without some of the offensive polish other guys have had, he has been the most ready to contribute and at least not be a negative all year. He has a 32 point game, a game-saving chasedown, and game winning cut and layup in year one while being tasked with the toughest defensive assignment 1-3 each night.

You don't have to agree he has the highest upside, but you can't say he doesn't have potential when he had a 32 point 6 assist game against a top 3 team. Yeah it's one game, and coincidentally the only game where he was the focus of the offense.

That’s a fair take, IMO. I just think the exuberance over Okoro’s big game is a little over the top.

Sexton could have scored 30+ multiple times his rookie season but Larry Drew wouldn't allow it to happen.
