Honestly, I feel we are the ones who created it. We can't control the fact the guy has essentially become a slightly more elaborate version of oasis, but we enable him on a daily basis. Anybody with a pulse in this section recognizes the futility of arguing with him and they (myself included) do it anyway.

its means that social drinking is part of the American culture. It means that if Manziel wants to go out drinking publicly more power to him.

If manziel is showing up to charity events and practice lit up then its a problem again.

its not the same as going on a bender or getting lit up every time he goes out

People aren't perfect. People also get a chance to redeem themselves when they make a mistake .How you deal with a mistake is every bit as important to character as making the mistake in the first place.

Manziel missed Treatment after a bender. He responded by checking himself into rehab.

Manziel lied to the team, after getting demoted .He went to practice and continued to work hard.

Manziel appears to be taking more steps in the right direction than the wrong.
